Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! 10/10!! We stayed in a Deluxe King room on the 17th floor of the Tower wing for 4 nights, and our room was INCREDIBLY HUGE and spacious with beautiful decor and perfect ambient lighting and complete black-out drapes!! Such true luxury, I miss staying there already!!
Our bathroom was large and had a generously sized bathtub which was perfect for my 6'3" husband! He said he really enjoyed the bathtub -- it's extremely rare to get a bathtub big enough for him when we stay at other hotels, so this was super memorable for him. The rain shower and water pressure were all exceptional. We did have an issue on our first night with our toilet flush getting stuck, but after we called housekeeping for them to fix it, we never experienced an issue after that!
The King Bed was HUGE and SUPER comfortable! We had stayed at a "King" bed room at another hotel, and we can verify that the King Bed in The Bellevue Manila is more like a California King (bigger than the standard King bed size). It was super luxurious. There was so much space on the bed (I couldn't reach my husband when I extended my arm on the bed!), and the linen and pillows were soft and super comfy. Combine this with pure black out drapes (I'm talking the room is pitch black even in peak daylight), we had THE BEST nights of sleep when we stayed there. No other hotel has made us sleep this well, ever.
The breakfast was beyond EXCEPTIONAL. From a genuine Taho station (my favorite), to an egg station where you can request for any type of eggs (scrambled, omelet, fried, etc.) and they'll cook it fresh, to staple Filipino breakfast items and staple Western breakfast items, to soups, breads, cereals, cold cuts, coffee and tea station and more, breakfast was such a highlight on top of an amazing night of sleep and an amazing experience already.
Not to mention that our stay was made even more comfortable by the genuine kindness and warmness of the staff there. They were all so friendly, professional, and attended to all our needs without hesitation. Whenever we needed something and would call up Guest Services from our rooms, we received our items in a matter of a few minutes. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze.
Just wow. I highly recommend The Bellevue Manila. Even though it's an "older" luxury hotel so there are inevitable signs of casual wear-and-tear (not so much though that it detracts from the overall experience), from our experience, The Bellevue Manila is truly a luxurious hotel, one that we all absolutely loved and enjoyed, and luxurious especially in the ways that truly matter. We already miss staying there. We will absolutely stay here again next time we're in Muntinlupa. Just outstanding. Thank you The Bellevue Manila team for making our stay ever so comfortable and luxurious. Our stay there exceeded all of our expectations and we can't...
Read moreWe had our short staycation here sometime this year. Initially, we got excited as we learned that owners of this so called "5 star" hotel are locals or have their roots here in the Philippines which means to say, this hotel is quite unique in that sense because normally 5 star hotels are not locally owned . (Ex. ShangriLa, Hayatt, Fairmont etc. ). Having known this as a fact, we decided to book our stay here and used our credit card because we just assumed our 65% off was worth it ❤️. When we checked in, we learned that our 65% off discount is only applicable to "published rate" which when computed yields to an amount equivalent or almost equivalent to the "standard" rate with no discount 😁 which means to say, the "65% off" is not really a discount but a trick to lure us to use our credit card to book lol! I'm adding photos here to better understand. Given this, our first time experience was "depressing" followed by a series of mediocre customer service experiences I will list down below :
On our "make up" room service request, they did not give us fresh towels. I called them to clarify and confirmed that their standard protocol for make up room is to deliver fresh bath towels .
We attempted to dine at one of their restaurants and asked if we can use our 50%off from their Ala Cart Menu. They declined our request and emphasized that their restaurant is only accepting buffet at the moment . When we described the detail of our credit card promo we wanted to avail(as clearly, it was indicated that we can avail Ala Cart ), they told us " Ma'am/ Sir, matagal po Kasi ang Ala Cart" .. so we ended up walking away, choosing not to argue because clearly, they we're not willing to comprise or accommodate any of our requests 😂..
In summary, our first time, locally owned (5 star) hotel experience was mediocre, we did not feel any "emotional" connection given our experiences.. nothing as in nothing ever made us feel .. " Babalik tayo dito ha?" .. Hays, sayang, akala po namin ng husband ko, may next go to hotel na kami within Metro Manila on our next staycation/vacation .. 😞 Lessoned learned, some promos or discounts are just marketing tactics lang pala, but this tactic gave us a really...

When we’re finished with the breakfast and on our way to elevator the restaurant staff hold us and and said we need to pay for 1 person 760 pesos because we got only 2complimentary.
