Asking customers "Excuse me, do you have a reservation?" 3 times to call their attention and using a rude, condescending tone while they are looking for seats is not a great way to welcome them. Plus saying these things in front of your other customers?

Checked the review of this place before going since we're looking for a place to work and pass time. Saw a review that said "men crew are rude.." but opted to ignore negative review and thought, "they might just be having a bad day that time"

Welp, I was wrong. it is still true until today.

I think saying "excuse me, can we help you?" Or "excuse sir, mam, that area is closed" would make us want to try this place next time. But yeah, no thanks. If this was one of those "karen" type of place, they should at least put a disclaimer and warning to people. We would understand.

Kudos to the Girl in the counter who apologized because we couldn't get seats. Girl, you deserve to be in a different place.

I had a great experience at The Syndicate! The Korean rice topping, beef bulgogi was delicious, and the flavors were well-balanced. The male staff was very accommodating and patiently answered all my questions. Though the serving time was a bit long. I can't remember but I guess I was already hungry.

They also have a function room upstairs that they say can fit 25 people, though I think it might be a bit snug. However, for a minimum spend of ₱6,000 (consumable) for 5 hours, it’s a decent option for meetings or small gatherings.

The ambiance is quiet and cozy, making it a great place to read a book or relax. Definitely...

Food - The latte (160php) is strong and creamy, served in a red cup. It is reasonably priced for a good coffee. I also ordered beef bulgogi and its tastes really good, although its on the pricy side (350php).

Service - The staff got my orders promptly and correctly. However, both staff were very serious and unwelcoming during my stay. It was a Sunday lunchtime, so I think the vibe should be more accommodating.

Atmosphere - This cafe exhibits an industrial vibe, with its music a little jazz, and that floors are clean. However, I must say the seats are limited as second floor are closed...
