A newly opened park in the Filinvest area, converted from one of the many empty lots in the area behind Festival mall. It just opened on Fri., Mar. 25, 2022, so as of my visit it had been open for only 2 days, and that was fairly obvious from the lack of development. Unlike the nearby Molito Lifestyle Garden, there were no chairs or tables. But one advantage it has is that it has several pieces of playground equipment, including a proper jungle gym with slide, and various contraptions where one can do bodyweight exercises. Also, there's a bike rental.
Another aspect where it's behind Molito is in food availability. This is in the form of popup food stalls, but their hours are more limited. The park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but the food bazaar is currently from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., except Sundays, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Molito is in the middle of rows of restaurants, so it has a lot more options, including a 24-hr. one (Recovery Foods). Of course, there are a lot of similar restaurants in Festival Mall, but it's a bit of walk to get there.
And finally, that last statement is the main reason why this place won't be replacing Molito any time soon as my favored nature-in-the-city place. You need a vehicle, even just a bike, for it to be conveniently accessible. If you're a commuter on foot, like I largely am, it's tiring to get there and back out. Molito trumps this, being just a short walk from Alabang-Zapote road. On the plus side, sometimes Molito gets too crowded, so I urge you to check this place out if you have a vehicle. I'll definitely still visit again, and I hope to upgrade my rating with future...
Read more5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the area. No wonder there are lots of fun run activities held there. It's great for biking, picnic.. etc. Many students were there during our visit, hanging around, playing volleyball, badminton, and practicing their dances. We went there to drop off our empty bottles, hoping to receive seedlings or plants in exchange for them, in support for their #projectgreen. Sadly, when we arrived at the exact location, there ws noone around to assist us. There was a DIY big bin made of plastic bottles where you could drop your empty bottles. Idk, but i guess we got scammed lol. Even though the schedule on their board is from 4pm to 10pm, i wish they hadn't included such a wide time range as it would be frustrating to think about waiting for long hours. i hope they realize that. I like your project but the implementation...
