Herbie's Mansion — Hotel in Olongapo

Seemingly the first transient hotel you will stop by at downtown seafront freeport. Low price is too inviting that you will think it is has the best room service and ammenities it can affordably offer. The location is not too far distant from resto bars. Structure wise, it is not too bad at all. Just noticeable as other low cost transient hotels, registration is open area and building has 2 floors. Checkin time is standard (i.e. 2pm until 12nn next day) but need to clear additional cost for extra head. I quite had a small argument with the registration staff on the topic. But they can be considerate. Rooms are clean, though room beside the stairs need to be checked if fully secured. Reported windows are not properly fixed and no locking dock is installed. We chose security over a heating machine so we transferred to another room. Complimentary breakfast is only included in another package rate. By the way, we've paid 1.5k for the overnight stay and was offered a free cost for an extra head. The room is tidy and can be easily considered. But can be no match against others nearby if you will properly look for one. Overall, the stay was okay and no hassle. But the next time we visit, we will find ourselves in a nearby...

Staying on the Subic Freeport is great, compared to Barrio Barreto. Clean, quiet streets, waterfront location, great shopping and an huge choice of restaurants. However, despite the massive number of ho hotels, there are few budget choices.||||Herbies's is the cheapest we could find. Good location but that's amd maybe OK for one night. Have stayed similar places in the Philippines paying less than hald the place, in which case it would be value for money ||AC - high on the wall so you have t6o stand on the bed to change setting or turn off. Noisy like an aircraft taking off||Bath room - no hot shower, old towels, no door know - just a hole in the door||Bed - uncomfortable and very small||Breakfast - pay extra for a terrible breakfast. Looking for a budget hotel in SBMA is a challenge. If you're willing to give up on major convenience and settle for price then this is the place for you. would I stay here again? Yes, for an overnight stay. If you're looking for a place just to spend a night then I would recommend this place. ||Toilet: the room we stayed in needs MAJOR improvement. You can sing a full happy birthday song before the water goes down the toilet.
