Unparalleled Comfort, Seamless Convenience, and Unforgettable Hospitality: A Stay Beyond Expectations at Joy Nostalg
We recently had the pleasure again of staying at Joy Nostalg to celebrate my parents' anniversary and my mom's birthday.
From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Even the pre-arrival process was seamless, so with that, I am happy to leave this review to highlight the remarkable comfort, unparalleled convenience, and superb customer service that made our stay truly unforgettable.
First and foremost, the comfort provided was exceptional. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and made extra special through the treat they gave my mom and my parents.
We always loved our stay at Joy Nostlag, because of the plush bedding and carefully chosen furnishings ensured a restful sleep and staycstion, while the well-appointed en-suite bathroom boasted luxurious amenities (bathtub and TV!). The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness was evident throughout our entire stay, making us feel we are home away from home.
The hotel's convenient location was another standout feature. Situated in the heart of Ortigas, it offered easy access to popular attractions, shopping (Podium and Meganall), and dining options, bit really Nostalgia restaurant is more than enough!
However, what truly set Joy Nostalg apart was its exceptional customer service. The staff members were the epitome of professionalism, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. From check in until the day of our departure, their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist created an atmosphere of genuine care and attentiveness. Promptly addressing our concerns and their dedication to ensuring our stay was flawless was truly commendable.
Now let me talk about our dining experience at Nostalgia (dine in or room service). The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every meal was a delightful experience. The concierge team was knowledgeable and eager to assist with any inquiries or reservations, making my stay even more convenient and enjoyable, not to mention the discounts we get for being loyal members of All Accor Plus.

Read moreI went there with my wife and kid for a celebration. We chose this hotel because of the larger rooms and proximity with the establishments we wanted to go to.
I called the hotel at 8 pm to book seeing that there is a promo for BDO credit card holders. I was connected to Guest Services and upon asking for the promo with BDO, the line dropped. From here, I was calling the hotel 10 times and 2 of them got connected but no one is answering at the other line. I can hear something briefly but it would be dead silent after a second. All attempts to get a booking were unsuccessful. I can't understand how someone who cares for their clients would not be expecting another call once it was disconnected if it was even disconnected. I wish I can remember the name of the one that answered but it was a very uncommon name that sounded to start with "N".
I decided to call during office hours and Belle and Micher were very gracious to help me with my reservation. A complete opposite of what I experienced the night before. Almost forgot MIcher , being another rare name, but good thing she was the one that emailed me the confirmation so I can acknowledge her properly. Both ladies were accommodating of my requests and have very much well compensated for my prior experience.
Upon Arrival, I was checked in by King who was really helpful and cheerful in helping us out. My wife and kid love the rooms because of the size and how much space we could have for our things.
We also used the pool during our stay. Jen and Gina made sure that we got all the help that we need especially we have a kid with us.
On our departure, we were happy to be granted a late check out and Albert was very assistive with our luggage as we loaded them to our car.
The only concern would be that the shower heads in the bathroom were not interchangeable. All water was just at the large shower head and cannot have the extended one work.
There was not much options at the restaurant too for locals. We wanted to dine at the lounge but upon seeing hte menu, we can't point to a specialty that the restaurant can offer. I can't seem to find the identity of the restaurant through the menu so we only opted to eat outside or have food delivered instead,

Read moreLocation was great as it was just walking distance to Podium and Galleria. Check in was a breeze. We were even upgraded from Executive to Premier room which I appreciate. I also loved the welcome kit which was different from other hotels which was usually a basket of fruits and some pastries or chocolate. The welcome kit included 2 kinds of fruit juice, 2 kinds of aureo chocolate and tamarind balls. The personalized welcome note was also nice touch. The room was clean, very spacious and well maintained. I was amazed at how well equipped the room was even with washing machine, fully functioning oven and dish washer not available in other properties. The staff were all very helpful and nice. My only concern was that the kitchen was provided with ladles, knives, peelers etc. However, there were no pots and pans. Also one minor negative experience, I was requesting for late check out since my husband last minute had to attend to some business at 2PM nearby. The guest services officer gave me till 1PM. Usually complimentary late check out till 4PM was given, both here and abroad, upon check in as a Gold Member perk except during Christmas/ New Year peak periods. I even inquired about the paid late check out as I received an email about this a couple of days back. She immediately rejected citing that the hotel was full. I recalled checking the availability at the app as I was considering extending for another night during bfast and recalled that the room category was available. I checked again after the fone call and it was indeed available. I called again and Angel answered ( was not able to get the name of the first one). She agreed but I had to pay 2000 additional ( email offering was 800 from the original 1200). I just agreed so that I can wait comfortably in the hotel while my husband attend to his appointment nearby. I don’t know why the first guest service officer immediately rejected my request, even if the request was for a fee.
