Pros: It was at the center of Ortigas center right next to Robinsons Galleria and a 3 minute walk to my workplace. The place is clean overall. The staff are friendly. The facilities are working. There is heating system and there is a super shower. We took a cheaper place coz we were there for work and we need the place just to eat and sleep. 🥰 The check in process was easy. I requested for a hair dyer and flat iron upfront and it was immediately given to me. There is always security at the door and temp check and alcohol. The bed was the COMFIEST KING SIZED BED I've slept on 🥰 There was a vanity mirror next to the door and there was a safety box for valuables. Toilet and bathroom are separated, thank you. There were a lot of clothes hanger mounted on the wall.
WIFI WAS GOOD!!! I did not have issues while working.
Cons: Honest review. I have over estimated the place.
The reception or concierge is sometimes empty especially night time. There were no "do not disturb" door sign. The bed is so big it took over 60% of the room. The room was clean, yes. But if you decide to eat inside and leave food for later, tiny cockroaches comes to visit. There isn't a cafeteria or restaurant to order food late night. The water does not really turn warm. It just turns into room temperature. The shower head fell off as soon I turned it on, so we decided not to use it. We just use the super shower overhead instead. There were no rags at the toilet door or bathroom door. No cabinets No chairs They are really strict with the check out time.
Eventhough the place lacks a few things, the stay was good. The staff was really friendly. And the location of the place is extremely convenient. The place was affordable. We will definitely...
Read moreI recently stayed at Go Hotels Ortigas Center from April 26-28, 2024 with my partner. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.
Check-in was delayed as the staff seemed unsure about room availability, which was surprising given the 2 PM check-in time. I find this unusual because rooms should have been made available by that time.
The room itself lacked sufficient pillows, and I was charged an extra 200 pesos per pillow per stay to support my back – a policy not typically seen in similarly priced hotels. I should have brought my own pillows to avoid this extra charge.
The room's WiFi was subpar, with speeds limited to around 9-10 Mbps and occasional signal loss. Luckily, I had my own pocket WiFi connection for both Globe and Smart, which provided up to 4G LTE signal through the in-building antennas.
The hot water from the tap and showers was not hot enough, suggesting a need for an upgrade to the central water heating system. Moreover, the exhaust fans in the toilet and shower room were excessively noisy, sounding like an aircraft engine, which was incredibly annoying.
Despite requesting room cleaning on Saturday morning using the door hanger, I returned in the evening to find the room had not been cleaned at all. I had to contact the front desk for clean towels and was too exhausted to lodge a formal complaint.
As a long-time patron of Go Hotels since its inception, I am disappointed to see the declining quality of facilities at the Ortigas branch. What a shame! For those considering a stay in the area, I would recommend exploring alternative options such as Hop Inn, Red Planet, or an Airbnb in Ortigas...
Read moreI stayed for 5 days and 4 nights at Go Hotels Ortigas.I have a 4 day convention at a hotel nearby and since I live far away from the venue, i choose to stay at this hotel.
My room is a "King room". Inside it was a TV set, one big bed, a bathroom and a sink. There were also 2 towels and 1 bath mat. 1 tissue roll and a complimentary bath soap and shampoo.
Others • INCONSISTENT ROOM PRICING SYSTEM. They often have price surges. What's up with that?! • There was no cabinet in the room to place your bag or clothes. No cloth hangers but a few places to hang your clothes. • There are several wall sockets beside the bed and beside the sink. • The phone inside the room cannot make outside calls. Only room to room and front desk calls. • There was a small vault in the room. • There is no complimentary room slippers. • There was only 1 trash bin. • The wifi is slow and does not allow netflix streaming. • Since guests are not allowed to eat inside the room, there is common dining area at every guest floor. If they find evidence that you violated the hotel policy, they will charge you Php 1000.00 . • There was no reliable phone line or email to contact the hotels incase you need some information. You can catch a "Live Chat" on their website. It is not always that there is a customer service representative to answer your chats. I once left a message and my email address so that they can reply, unfortunately, they did not answer my inquiry in any way. I was even calling during OFFICE HOURS but no answer either.
All in all I would give 3 out of 5 stars. What saved my rating to pass a bit is the cleanliness of the hotel grounds and...
