I stayed here for 5 nights for business travel, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience. The location is great, close to the banks, restaurants, bars, and public transportation, which made it easy to get around the area.
The room was kinda clean. However, there were trash paper bags (bulseta) inside the cabinet that were not cleaned up when I came in. There were also stains on the table.
It had all the essentials, except for electric kettle. Noise from outside can be heard and was a bit disruptive at times as well.
One issue I encountered was with the airport pickup service. I had arranged for the hotel van to pick me up, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find the driver, and it seemed he didn’t see me either. This led to some confusion and a delay in getting to the hotel. While it wasn’t a major inconvenience, clearer communication or better coordination would have helped.
The staff were polite.
Overall, the stay was decent, but there were a few areas that could be improved for a...
Read moreThe room itself was clean, and the beds were comfortable. That's where the positive ends. If you wanted to relax a little and watch some TV, or in my case, I just wanted to catch the college football highlights. Nope. Although they advertise satellite TV, it must be the lowest of all packages, because they had like 10 channels, all local or church. When you enter or if you leave your room, the ac shuts off, and it takes a good hour to cool it down. But the worst thing, we didn't realize till the evening, that our room was missing the drapes, and the blinds are not completely opaque, and have sizeable gaps between them where someone can see unobstructed. I might add the windows are floor to ceiling covering the entire wall visible to the street. So in other words, during the night, when we had the room light on, the entire world could see our naked butts! By the time we realized it, we were so tired we didn't want to wait an hour to cool another room down. Not a...
Read moreThis was an accurate introduction to Palawan unfortunately. The hotel rooms are acceptable for this price range but the level of service, noise and attitude of staff is not good. At check I asked if my room faced the street with the loud bar, they said no, it did and then they refused to move me to a quieter room despite having availability. I've never encountered service like this in the Philippines so perhaps Palawan is now too popular and so service levels don't have to be great. The elevator wasn't working, it seems this is an issue they don't care about as other people have included this multiple times in their reviews. For me it wasn't too much of an issue but if you don't want to climb up three or 4 levels with luggage you should take that into account. The music across the road goes until 2am, bring industrial strength earplugs along with a good eye mask as the blinds don't block out the...
