It is a family run hostel (but fairly luxurious as far as hostels go) and I haven’t met anyone in the Philippines that are more friendly and helpful than the owners of this hostel. They sat with us and helped us plan our trip of the Philippines, provide us loads of recommendations (at no benefit to them) were on hand to help us with anything we needed, ordered us motorbikes to rent, gave us local refreshments and they were just generally pleased to enjoy our company and a conversation and vice verse.||||If you are in Palawan definitely stay here, I couldn’t recommend this hostel...

• Not hard to find in Rizal Avenue; it’s along the highway, easy access to public transportation like tricycles & multicabs • Walking distance to lots of places to eat at, pharmacies, and other shops • The hostel keeper was friendly • Basic facilities: 3 single beds in an airconditioned room right across the hosted desk at the ground floor, and a private toilet. That’s it. • Water pressure was good • For improvement: old AC unit was struggling to cool down the small room mosquitoes flying around; room needs spraying shower drain smells a bit
