We stayed at this place for almost 4 days and it was amazing place. The room we stayed at is clean (though we should have upgraded to a bigger room but we were there to venture the city of Puerto Princesa). Since we were only there for 3 days, we decided to plan our daily activities. The hotel provides schedules of activities (extra fee).

Day 1 ( trip to Lagoon) we did had an amazing experience. Our tour guide is amazing. She gives us a great time and she is organized with time and all.

Day 1 (trip to El Nido) we left 3am and arrived at 7:30am. Now there must be a curse going on cuz our excursion just went from bad to worse. We were told to wait at the drop off till’ our tour guide shows up (never happen) 3 hours later we were told to go to another site. Now the whole tour was great. The place was amazing and all. We had an amazing time despite the weather. But as soon as the tour ended no one told us where to go and get clean. This is where it went from bad to worse. Oh yeah we went back to Puerto Princesa soak (5 hrs. drive in a van with A/C on NO FUN) IT WAS NOT ORGANIZED

Day 3 (Island Hopping) would highly recommend taking this day trip. We had so much fun that day. The islands was AMAZING. Our tour guide is well organized and on time. You got to appreciate the beauty of nature. Well worth it.

To sum up, we had a great time in a small time frame. Next time, we would go to Coron. If given another chance we would come back and stayed at this place. It is well secure, gated and you’re...

This hotel was in a good location just 2 mins walk from the beach and Main Street of bars and restaurants! When we arrived they made us wait till exactly dead on 2pm to check in to our room which was quite ridiculous considering the room was properly ready way before that! We spent 3 nights in the new block of rooms which were lovely and modern, clean and comfortable! Bed was amazingly comfortable! When we first booked our 3 nights here we quickly added on a 4th night which was about a month before our stay! When it came to the 4th day we were moved from our room into the old block of rooms! We were treat like a completely new customer all over again made to leave our room at 12 and wait till 2 to recheck into the new room which I thought was disgusting the hotel new we had booked the 4th night as an add on so a moving us rooms fair enough but to make us wait all over again was terrible customer service! The old section of the hotel was dark, dingy, havings the lights on made little to no difference! There wifi is terrible doesn’t work in any of the rooms literally only in the hotel lobby! And they restrict what you can view you can’t check your emails or even use google which is quite ridiculous! If they sorted out these problems they could have a...

What a gem find this little hotel was , perfect for us. Beautiful spotlessly clean pool. Very friendly owner and staff just couldn't do enough for us. I'm disabled text ahead and they reserved a ground floor room right by the pool and restaurant. Placed my electric scooter and back packs in our room and ushered us to take unlimited tea, coffee, hot choc. We were offered 4 choices of complimentary breakfast that seemed to be served when ever you were ready with such care and attention . The whole place is clean and well maintained. We booked 1 night and kept extending to 5 in total. The owner booked us the famous sea cave tour but unfortunately it was canceled with imminent Typhone. We were refunded the next day. The owner organised a lady to come to our room and give us an exelent 1hr massage 500php each . Moto scooter hire was available 500php/day or Car hire 1500php/day. Shopping malls and market just 5 mins walk. On leaving the owner offered to take us to the airport at 5am he was waiting for us at 4.45am and dropped us at the airport departure with a charge of 150php , his hotel guest rate. Would we use this hotel again, most definitely cannot recommend it more highly. Hope you have a great stay. Ps those hammocks were...

Mariners Pension is not a fancy hotel, but what it lacks in fanciness is made up for by the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. Mariners is a family owned and run business located a block back from the main street, Rizal Avenue. The hotel is a very short (3 or 4 blocks) walk from Baywalk Park, the beachfront strolling and dining area (a place not to be missed). Mariners has a lovely swimming pool, which is unusual for a hotel in this price range. The room rate also includes breakfast, which is your choice from the daily menu, as well as whatever tea/coffee/juice you want. The breakfast meals were not huge but they were enough for us. The rooms are clean and basic, with aircon that worked and hot shower that also worked. The shower was fantastic after returning from being out in the Palawan rain while on tour. We would definitely stay here again.
