La Palapa Inn Port Barton — Hotel in Roxas

Last day vibes at the stunning La Palapa! We’ve spent an unforgettable week here in beautiful Port Barton and picking this spot was the best decision we made!

The Staff: Wow, just wow! The kindness here is next level. Just two days before our arrival, we got a message from management providing us instruction traveling from Puerto Princesa to Port Barton, They even offered to cover our tuk-tuk ride from Port Barton to the terminal! Their communication was fantastic - from updates about local brownouts to tips on where to find safe food. Shoutout to Regina for her exceptional hospitality and to the rest of the staff, Rona Mae, Jing, Matet and Lorena.

The room: We had the pleasure of staying in this absolutely lovely place, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The moment I walked in, I felt a sense of warmth and coziness.

The Cats: We will certainly miss Lilo and Meow Meow. Every morning when I open the door, they're always waiting right outside. They are so sweet

La Palapa Inn was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Port Barton. It was easy to find and close to the bus terminal which was very convenient when carrying our bags in on arrival. The accommodations were clean, modern and comfortable with great internet service. While set a short distance away from the town/beach we were able to walk everywhere within 5-10 minutes and felt extremely safe walking during the day and evening, with tricycles available close by if needed. We liked being a bit further away from all the hostels to relax when we wanted and enjoy a slower start to our day. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and activities; and, they went out of their way to arrange a private transfer for our departure. ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Palapa Inn. The staff were great and always at hand to help. Regine is an absolute gem and such an asset to the place. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable, spends time taking to you, and seems to always be available and responsive on WhatsApp.

We loved it so much and Port Barton in general that we wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately for us, they were fully booked. We will be back as we are sure we will return to Port Barton.
