Great value. The location is perfect, just a walking distance from Calle Crisologo. The staff in the reception is great, we were able to check in early for an additional php160 per hour. The room is good. On our first day, we tried to sleep right after check in. The AC was making some weird noises and we plan to inform the reception about it but we're just too tired and plan to just do it later. But eventually, the weird sound was gone after about 2 hours. On our 2nd day, the cleaning staff mistakenly tried to open our room twice. When I asked why, she was surprised to see me and said she thought the room was empty. She went to the reception to check and realized she was supposed to check another room (room ending in -9 instead of ours which is -6). I let it go because mistakes happen. However, the receptionist profusely apologized when we went out for our breakfast. I told her all is good. Also, the lock was not working when we were leaving for breakfast (room 206). We asked for assistance from the room attendant. I thought that it was because of the attempts made earlier but the attendant told another staff in ilocano that it was "sira na naman to ng lock ng 206" (as translated by partner who is an ilocano). Breakfast is good. It was served fast and the area looked nice. Parking is available, the area can accommodate up to 3 cars only I think. Overall, we had a great stay in this hotel. There are some untoward incidents which could have ruined our stay but the way the receptionist handled it is great. The receptionist is the best. She gave us proper expectation like the phone is not working, and was consistently courteous. She also give us instructions on how to go to certain spots in the area and little tips like not bringing a car if we go to an x place because parking is...

I booked this hotel because of it's proximity to Calle Crisologo and the glowing reviews.||However, upon checking in, it leaves a lot to be desired. The standard room we were assigned in the ground floor looks worn down. The paint in the walls were chipping and there was mould in the bathroom ceiling. In terms of cleanliness, oh boy do I have a lot to say. There were bathroom stains in the floor, toilet and shower slides. Desk and side tables were dusty. And the room has that musky scent that smells like wet wood. Also there were SO MANY mosquitoes in the room!!! ||Some items were also lacking that are present in other hotels like toothbrush & toothpaste and slippers (had to manually request this one and blow dryer. There was no refrigerator as well.||The staff were cold and not friendly. They lack warmth. I do not feel welcome with them. One of them even mistakenly thought I was a trespasser at the hotel while I was taking pictures with my partner at the parking lot. We were on our 3rd day by then, you would think as part of their hospitality, she'd recognize their guests by then or at least be warm and friendly to them. A lot of them also look listless and doesn't know what they're doing. I don't blame them. I blame the management for their lack of training.||Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The only pro I can think of is the location. Dirty, bad service and...

Rooms: Clean and quite well maintained, but not as classy as you're 4 or 5 star residential establishments. The size is ample for 2 or 3 persons, depending on the room type you'll be choosing, however an extra bed is quite cramped. If you're going to be going in groups, make sure to select the right room size. Basic necessities like shampoo, soap, towels, tissues are there, except the slippers. So to be sure, to bring your own slippers.

Service: We are scheduled for a regular check-in time of 2:00pm, however, they did have a bit of delay of clearing out the room. They will accomodate you to carry your belongings into your room. They do have a phone paging/telecom system within the room and very responsive to room service. Breakfast accomodation is very satisfying for a local Ilocano food selection. The regular restaurant service is not yet available due to COVID restriction advise.

Location: They do have a parking space with a maximum 6 vehicles only. Not sure if they have an auxiliary parking around the vicinity Located within the Vigan center, so its very accessible to tourist spots and landmarks specially the...

What a wonderful city Vigan is ! So characterful and full of charm. We stayed at the Hotel Veneto De Vigan in early January. It was very neat and tidy but in a old style that was very appealing. Particularly the old style windows made of lattice and shell. Very conveniently located close to the Main Street which is definitely a tourist attraction with the horse drawn carriages. The supplied breakfast was tasty enough although very little choice. I had a continental style breakfast. My partner had rice and longganisa. She is a Filipina after all ! The main issue was the steep steps to get to the reception. Not a problem for us but could be for others. Regardless, we would definitely stay there again if in the area !
