The Loom Hotel is truly unique. We stayed here while visiting family in Lodz and it was a great experience. The idea behind the name and interior design and decor tied to it reflects the city's history rooted in textile industry. The room we stayed in was comfortable, meeting all our needs, the bathroom had a state of the art shower, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast deserves a separate review, it's more than we could have expected (you may want to book a room just for the breakfast!). From freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, through a variety of meats, cheeses, pastes, salads, breads, fruits, jams and even types of honey, a wide choice of warm foods (eggs, sausages, omelets, crepes, etc.), it's no wonder the restaurant is highly rated. The moody bar is well stocked and just as well designed as the entire hotel. The Loom is very conveniently located in the heart of Lodz, right at Manufaktura, the retail/food and entertainment center right off of Piotrkowska Street. Read morevisited for two nights. Plusses: Really high end room, plenty of space inside. Great location Next to hotel is Manufacture parking where you can hunt for free parking
Minuses: -We arrived at 13.10 with a toddler. Asked for early check in as outside was 35c+ and we were after a long trip. Reception girls told sorry, this is not possible, no rooms are available at the moment, but when will be ready, they will call me. Noone called us at all. Later, when checked in after 15.00, they informed we will need to choose from small breakfast meniu as there are less than 10 rooms booked in hotel at the moment. Really? And you could not make early check in when you have more than 60 rooms empty? -Dirty cups inside the room, was gross -'gym' has only 3 cardio machines and no weights -you cannot change temp in the room on AC. Only shut down or turn on
All in all it is new and nice, but you have to work...

In Lodz everything is far away, I recommend to use Bolt or public transport. So why 3 stars? We stayed for 4 nights and everything was great, but on the last night there was an event in a local restaurant that was very noisy, ended a little after midnight and this is not acceptable to the guests. This should not happen in a 4 hotel. ...
