Wifi signal was very poor and the connection was dropping off randomly. Whilst the mobile signal in the area was poor as well, we were left out without the robust internet access. When having dinner at the restaurant, we wanted to get a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to pay by cash (!!!) and the nearest cash machine was a long walk away. As a result, we had to give up having wine. On New Year's morning, the dining room was very full and we had to wait for the long time to get a free table. The service staff were not attentive at all, and they didn't help people find their seats. Perhaps it's worth introducing booking slots for breakfasts so everyone can sit comfortably? We have hardly seen any guests wearing masks inside the hotel and the staff weren't wearing them either. We were asked if we are vaccinated while checking-in to the hotel, but we were not asked to show any proof of vaccination. We stayed in the apartment which had no lift to get to and we had to carry very heavy suitcases up the stairs....
Read moreA rather strange place. It's like a 1960's hotel (including room interior decorations). There is no drinks facility for most of the time. There is bottled water or you have to walk up the shop. The cafe/bar opens for few hours (like 3 a day) and there are no kettles in the room so we found that we were needing a hot drink after being out in the snow but at 8pm couldn't have anything until breakfast! Dinner in the restaurant is pre-booked only and shuts at an early time like 8pm. We got a taxi to a bar in the end. The breakfast is good and the thermal facility is well worth it. We liked our room with balcony views to mountains. It was pricey at £75 a night but we used the aquapark so it was just about worth it. I suspect most of this was hotels.com cut. I would go again but...

The smell of old furniture was strong. ||Breakfast was basic, very basic for a big hotel. ||Position is very good, walking in the town straight out of the hotel across the park. ||You have access to acquapark prepaid, considering the room was cheap, acquapark was a very very good add-on. ||If you do not like water activities and acquapark and termal waters, choose another hotel, this is not worth it for you. Ski facility in Zakopane on Tatra slope is a couple of km away, I...
