Unjustified Charges and Poor Customer Service at Elma Apartments

I regret to say that our experience at Elma Apartments was far from pleasant. We were unfortunately charged an extra 50 Euros for air conditioning that we never used during our stay. When we approached the front desk to clarify this issue, we were met with uncooperative and unsympathetic treatment.

Despite our best efforts to resolve this matter, we faced unnecessary difficulties and stress in getting our money back. Given this experience, I would advise potential guests to reconsider their choice. It is my belief that customers should not have to deal with such issues during what should be a relaxing stay. Seen many negative reviews on the likes of Bookings.com which turned out to be false and changed my initial outlook when I experienced at first hand. The apartments are huge, it's literally a home for a reasonable price which includes access to the community pool and smart lcd tv. Reception for the apartments were great, very accommodating and fit our schedule around theirs, the only negative points I have is the beds weren't overly comfortable, there was no wi-fi and the pool is always 1 foot less full (I'm tall, I like deep pools) but beggars can't be choosers. If I were to visit Albufeira again, Elma Apartments would be a good choice if you want to remove yourself...

We checked in midnight in September 27, 2024 because our flight was delayed. Mrs.Teresa was waiting for us. She was very friendly to greet us. We stayed until 2 October, 2024. We both were very happy with Elma Apartemen, very clean, in an quite location because it was not a high season anymore, and we got no bad comment at all about this apartment. The location was not far from the beach, just walking distance. There are two good restaurants nearby, and few minimarkets. We rented a card from Hertz to explore Algarve. To the center of Albufeira is also not too far....
