When we turned up at this delightful venue yesterday for our Father's day celebrations I was very hopeful. Right on the beach, stylish, buzzy and a Nikki Beachish vibe. Our table was super; on a corner with stunning beach views. So far so promising.

From there it was a long litany of disasters, culminating in the pièce de résistance which was the appalling attitude of the owner.

Anyway I digress.....service that needed prompting constantly and even then didnt occur, food arriving at different times and cold ( albeit admittedly good quality and tasty), no attention whatsoever once meals finally arrived. We weren't once asked if we would like anything else..drinks, desserts..anything! It was thoroughly unsatisfactory and a downright shambles.

Needless to say we expressed our displeasure to the manager who ineffectually just proffered the card machine to pay and said we have new staff. The owner was busy until I refused to pay then miraculously he found himself to be available.

Then my mum and I had the misfortune to meet truly the most arrogant man I have ever encountered. Not one word of apology, just waived his arms in the direction of the full house and how popular his establishment is. Then when I expressed my unhappiness with the lack lustre at best experience he started shouting in my face and pointing at me, as if I had wronged him. I am a very petite 5ft 5, this person was way over 6ft and large..looming over me..luckily I am.not easily intimidated, although I imagine many would be. It was also very clear his staff were afraid of this tyrant, and this was all carried out in full view of customers.

Ultimately after a huge stand off where my mum and I made it clear an apology would have sufficed but his attitude had made this matter tenfold worse, it was agreed we would pay half of the bill. Our intention was not to get a discounted meal, but rather have our concerns addressed.

An unfortunate lunch happening and despite the interesting menu and great location none of us will ever return.

Not Tourist Friendly at All – A Disappointing Experience

I recently visited to celebrate a friend's birthday, and while the venue itself had potential, the service and management left much to be desired. Our group was excited to enjoy the beach atmosphere and celebrate, but we were met with hostility and unprofessionalism.

We brought a small speaker, playing music at a volume no louder than a normal conversation. Despite the club already having its own music, a guest who had been napping for hours demanded we turn off our music. Out of respect, we complied. To our shock, this guest soon started mocking us, discussing the music with the waiter, and even mimicking our dancing, all while pointing and laughing at us.

Feeling humiliated, we tried to address the situation calmly. However, the guest's son approached us aggressively, warning that things would "get crazy" if we didn’t stop talking. Coming from a place where such threats are not taken lightly, this escalated quickly into a heated argument. The mother then began screaming at us and even charged at our group.

What was most disheartening was the complete lack of support from the staff. Despite witnessing the entire incident, the waitresses did nothing to de-escalate the situation or call for security. It was clear they were siding with the locals, leaving us feeling unsafe and unwelcome.

The management's failure to create a welcoming environment for tourists and the unprofessional behavior of their staff is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and...

We had a reservation for 7pm, we were placed inside to wait for our table. After 25 minutes and no attention from the staff we finally got to go to our table which was still dirty and sticky. We had to wait another 25 minutes before we got to order anything. The drinks were nothing special, a pornstar martini without foam which looked like a pre-mix which was just poured inside. We received the food which we ordered to get at the same time over a period of 10 minutes. The steak I ordered was medium rare but I got a well done steak. After telling someone from the staff they got annoyed with us, finally it got taken back to the kitchen. Within a few minutes I got a new one, which after cutting it open was still raw and cold inside. The rest of the food was not much better, the staff even got annoyed when I told them the second steak was just raw. A colleague confirmed it and took it back. Just told them to cut it from the bill and that I didn’t want a new one. Not recommended...
