Restaurante Stews & More — Restaurant in Albufeira

We were looking hard for dinner place on our second and last night in Albufeira on this vacation. We had a thought to look in more calm area to escape the crowds and we found this gem. When we came there, the staff greeted us really warm, soon we got familiar with the owner as well, we had a little conversation about the wine and our starters, mains choices. We ate one starter and two stews, everything was amazing. Then I asked about the desserts and we got orange pie, which was also amazing. With this one, I asked the staff, if they have birthday candles as it was my fiancés birthday, the waiter organised the surprise like the mastermind and I got the pie first, then another piece was incoming with the candles. All the staff was singing happy birthday, even the owners… then all the guests joined, it was true moment of happiness to my fiancée, since she didn’t expect this. We spend there ~3 hours and in the end we felt like home, we will definitely return to this magic place. Thanks a lot for sharing the happiness in your restaurant! Love from Raimondas...

Had visited yesterday night, the only thing i remember is SLOW, we took like 20min to be atented for order, another 20min to have staters and like 40min to have our meal, even take 10min to waiting for check, we arrived at 8:30 and leave at 10:30, forget the 30min for eating, all rest of time (1hour and half) is just sitting and waiting, and they will show u their impatient when u asking for something twice， NOW talk about foods，to be honest the menu called Campos is the reason i left 1 star for them,its delicious yes, the another one with beef taste a little bit bitter，and the orange juice， we ask for natural and its absolutely not natural, we received 2 different type of it and 1 taste like Compal another even worse, taste like concentrate juice. AND when we order, he said with very confident that 2 meals for 2 its enough, but the result is just not enough. we cost 1 hour and half to sitting outside with wind and we have to order more breads to stay full. well, we came for stews...

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Stews and More in Albufeira – not just once, but two nights in a row – and we’re still dreaming about it! From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The service? Warm, genuine, and truly personal. You don’t just feel like a customer here – you feel like family. They take the time to get to know you and make every visit feel special.

And the food? Oh. My. Goodness. You can taste that it’s homemade – every bite is bursting with flavor, care, and love. The stews are rich and comforting, and the ribs? They literally fall apart in the best way. Every dish feels like a hug from the kitchen.

We now fully understand why this place is so popular. Funny enough, it was ChatGPT who recommended it to us – and we couldn’t be more grateful.
