Such a dope spot! 🔥

Curva has been on my list of cafés to visit for sometime now, and it didn’t disappoint. ☺️🙌🏽 The ambience and modern-boho style make the space calming and yet vibrant. Living plants and warm wood tones make this place really special. The curving flow and setup is very chic yet cozy. You can grab a table for 2-4 or share a space at a communal table.

This really is a remote worker’s gem because it’s tucked away in Intendente but oozing with a welcoming atmosphere. The service is great as the servers are attentive, but also give you ur space. The food is really tasty too! 🤤 I had a croissant w/ eggs + cheese w/ a side of avocado and sautéed mushrooms (by the way, those mushrooms are amazing! They are marinated in magic💫) They also sell liquor and beer for brunch/lunch vibes. I have already visited this spot more than once and it’s the consistency for me!!

Now for My Luvs/No Likes:

😍 My Loves:

•Menus in English/Portuguese •Great Service/Staff •Tasty Food •Great Vegan/Veggie options (including Oat Milk🙌🏽) •Great Ambience (work/vibe/meet/or just eat) • 🔌 Plugs and outlets for remote workers •Free Wi-Fi •

Open toast presunto & burrata: big fresh burrata with colorful seasoning (especially enjoyed the black lava salt in it) accompanied with roasted pistachios was sitting in the garden of leaves. One and half medium thickness and crunchiness toast was guarding a side of large bowl it arrived in. Fairly sized, had to finish it after my feminina couldn’t stuff her face with it anymore.

Grilled cheese toast - presunto: two large toasts grilled with gentle touch of butter, sprinkled with oregano and filled with orange and yellow grated (who knows what kind of) cheese and two slices of cured ham. Cheese was nicely melty and on the edges crunched but I had a feeling that even distribution wasn’t ideal. Or the cheese had a meetings in some bread corners. Also fairly sized, but I munched it no problem at all.

Cortado coffee: coffee could been extracted little shorter or grinded to more coarse because it tasted little overburned, also tiny little smaller than what we like,

Mimosa: they could use freshly squeezed orange juice instead of the one from the airplane

On the table was available only brown sugar, so bring your white powder with you if you like...

It's a great place to work as well as to have tasty infusions and tea, homemade snacks, and light meals on a very affordable cost. The staff gives special attention to details and are always present without being all the time on the table or interrupting but rather they have the very good sense of showing themselves available and asking whether anything else is required or if it's at our taste. The space is organized in a L shape, where the entrance is done on a nice and natural illuminated corridor, replenished with plants which gives a very harmonious and health sensation to the mind. On the end of this corridor which is about 20m long, we can find the cafeteria and kitchen area. On the left, jewelry can be found for sale and turning to the right side we have a gallery space that has permanent as well as temporary exhibitions and clothing and accessories which can be bought as well as the paintings, furniture, etc. - all artist's production. For the ones who are visiting the city, it offers not only the possibility of discover local artists in site - exhibited, but also is extremely well located, on walking distance to most of the ancient...

This place gets really busy on the weekends, so don’t be surprised if you have to follow up on your coffee or food. They’re just way too swamped when a mob of friends descend on their establishment (understandably so). The more important thing is the quality of coffee and food, and that is definitely something Curva gets right. Their avocado toast had a generous heaping of avocado, and the lemon + chili flake combo was so mouth-wateringly good. I normally don’t order avocado toast because it never seems worth it, and this is one of the few places I would reorder from (the other being 49th Parallel in Vancouver, Canada). The flat white was also perfectly creamy. The art decor made the environment (noisy guests aside) extremely pleasant to be in. Highly recommend visiting when they’re less busy (and also when they are, if you don’t mind the bustle).
