Such a cute restaurant. Very tasty and authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Portimão.
A few friends and I made this our final supper meet-up after an amazing time at AfroNation 2022 in the Algarve. We had a wonderful young hostess who did an amazing job with our big table on her first day!
What I loved 😍 Food was tasty and the service was pleasant. We ate pizza, pasta, and handmade calzones. I also had the mushroom risotto which was really yummy.
No likes 🫤 Unfortunately, the place is rather small. Even though we ate outside, it was difficult for them. Super quaint for a small lunch of 2-3 People, but Not the best for groups bigger than 4-5. They also had several new staff. Since they were new, they didn’t know the menu well but we were patient and they were kind. I must admit they did they’re best and it was appreciated.
It’s the only reason I gave it a 4/5 stars. They couldn’t have anticipated our group, but that did affect how timely and accurately we received our food. All and all, I would definitely visit again the next time I’m in Portimão. Just not with as...
Read moreThe waitress was extremely unfriendly, bordering on rude. We tried to order a drink (macchiato) from the menu and were promptly told they were did not have it and were a restaurant, not a bar. They did not even ask if we were going to order food. Due to this, we decided not to bother ordering what looked like it could have been a delicious pizza. Both the waitress and who appeared to be a manager were unkind and frankly people who should not be in the service industry.
Thank you for the reply. However, your staff were rude. They did not ask if we were going to order food, but merely told us they did not have the drink that was on the menu and were not a bar. We were going to order food after drinks to warm us up. Unfortunately, the unfriendly and impatient staff did not provide us this courtesy. There were no others customers so they should have least taken the time to...
Read moreLikes: the food was amazing: we ordered the Portuguese linguine, the dany and the mortadella - all were cooked to a professional standard and they were generous with the portion sizes. We couldn't finish our meals but we now have something for lunch! the dessert was also super tasty; we went for a late dinner so they only had Panna cotta left. It was creamy but not sickly sweet - we loved it!
Improvements: the service was a bit slow; there weren't many waiters and I think the restaurant seemed a bit overwhelmed and understaffed. Despite this we still got our food in good time and were not left disappointed.
The toilets are very tiny! And if you seat inside, it tends to...
