Peebz — Restaurant in Porto

Burgers are being reinvented and a lot of new restaurants have popped up in Porto and all across Portugal. Peebz is one such restaurant, but took the risk of being located out of the city center. However, based on what they put on the plate, their location won't be keeping people away.

For a first time visit, I asked for the 'menu of the day' which consists of a specific burger on the plate (accompanied by fries), a drink and coffee. Today's burger was a big burger (big in height) with mushrooms, cheese, lettuce and barbecue sauce. A big thumbs up for the fries, which were made on the spot and none of that pre-fried stuff. The burger as a whole was pretty good, although I think the meat could have used a little bit more seasoning.

We found this place when searching for a good hamburger. Wow, this is beyond good, gourmet is a better description. Four of us had four different burgers. Including the veggie Burger. My sister had the veggie Burger and she described it as The Best veggie Burger she has ever had. They offer different French fries options including Parmesan and truffles. I ordered the Peebz burger and it was delicious. All of the sauces tasted fresh and flavourful. The service was excellent with both servers pitching in to tale care of us. After we ate the manager gave us some recommendations for fish dinners and pulled up maps to show us where. We felt valued as a customer. Love this place and will...

We visited the restaurant twice in one week due to our positive experiences in the past while staying in Foz.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed this time, as it felt like the owner overcharged us in a dishonest manner.

The first time, the burger and two drinks cost €14.05, but the second time, it cost €15.70 with only one drink. We weren’t given a receipt to verify the charges, leaving me suspicious after noticing the amount on the card.
