Andy Inn Hotel Gara de Nord — Hotel in Bucharest

First of all, the hotel lacked basic hygiene, for example, the sheets were dirty,there were papers thrown in the toiletes, the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned and the smell was awfull. The cleaning staff was inexperienced,rude and very young ages 14 to 16, i told them that i found smoked cigarretes in my drawer and they just took them and smoked them.Also there were more inscects than people in this place. Cockroaches everywere. Lots of other bugs. There were lots of blood and other kind of stains everywere. We paid for two meals breakfast and dinner. We went to eat our dinner. Big mistake. The food was not good but the main problem was that the dishes were not cleaned. It was disguisting. Also there were problems with the electricity. The lights would always go down and the stuff was unwilling to help with the problems. We couldnt even stay one night there. I do not recommend that place. DO NOT GO AND...

I choose this hotel because i wanted to be near to the train station. We arrived late at night and were shown to our three bedded room on the secong floor. It was clean and basic, although the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Our room faced the train station and a busy road where there were a few prostitutes about every night and some sex shops and seedy bars so was quite noisy but it didnt stop us sleeping. The bathroom was clean but the shower wasnt. We didnt have a shower just a good strip wash, as it really was quite grotty. In the morning we went for breakfast noticing how threadbare and dirty the stairs carpet was. The breakfast was ok but the lady there did make us fresh eggs without us even asking. So to sum it up. He inquired with the hotel staff about the possibility of staying extra nights without charge, given the bug problem that had been reported. He believed he was entitled to a refund or a free two-night stay. However, his request was denied, even after he produced evidence to support his complaints.
