La Mama — Restaurant in Bucharest

Nu e primul restaurant "La Mama" care ne-a dezamagit, dar in mod deosebit la acesta, experienta avuta a fost mult prea... jos.😒 Motivele: ciorbele au venit prea fierbinti, iar felul 2 era caldut spre rece; smantana pentru ciorba avea in ea o impuritate mica, neagra; burger-ul nu a fost deloc gustos, cel mai probabil de la combinatia de ingrediente... E bun doar daca ti-e foame. Daca iti doresti un burger delicios, nu aici il gasesti; frunza de salata din burger era veche, pe jumatate vestejita si cu marginile uscate; cartofii prajiti erau foarte uleiosi, la fel si ciorbele; burger-ul a venit pe un platou din ardezie (deci foarte plat) care era mult prea mic (20 x 10 cm) pentru a manca relaxat deasupra lui: zeama din burger s-a scurs, inevitabil, pe masa. pastrama de oaie avea un gust ciudat, usor neplacut... probabil de la prea multul usturoi - o treime din portia de carne era de fapt reprezentata de feliutele de usturoi cu care a fost gatita - nu am inteles de ce am primit si acea portie consistenta de usturoi gatit, probabil doar de "umplutura vizuala); in pastrama de oaie am mai primit si un fir de par (dupa aspect, parea a fi barbatesc, cel mai probabil de pe mana); Ce a fost bine: mamaliguta a fost buna, chiar gustoasa. Ne-au mai placut si chiflele cu susan, chiar ne amuzam cum doar la ele am simtit ca ne place ce mancam. 🤭 Din pacate, "La Mama" nu mai e ce-a fost, iar asta e valabil in mai multe locatii din Bucuresti in care am mers de multi...

I love La Mama but this one has TERRIBLE service, I will never come back. They are open till 12 and we arrived at 9:20, the faces and atmosphere was terrible, we got our food and I asked foe the crease and sour cream with my food (which it comes with) we were told the kitchen is closed, how could it be closed if we got the food (which was not hot and tasted like reheat) Never come to this one, the waitresses have a terrible attitude. Traditional romanian food, one of La Mama locations (they have several in Bucharest). Good price to food quality ratio (average prices for way above average food, don’t expect Instagram quality food). It’s my go to place for daily eating or ordering take-out; tasted all their soups and grilled food, can only vouch for grilled vegetables and eggplant salad for vegan choices.
