Meh. The food is ok, but don’t expect anything wow-worthy. The staff is albanian, the atmosphere is ok (you can actually hear yourself speaking). It’s very probable they lost their cook or something, because the food no longer looks like in the older pictures around here. We got their Toka salad (definitely the best item we ordered), fries (probably the worst homemade fries we’ve had), the chicken with the rose sauce (edible but dry) and the pancake (kinda bland). Their albanian pies are only available for pre-order, apparently, at least that’s what the waiter told us (2 people). Another bigger group asked about them, they were told it takes about 50 minutes to make them, but the waiter still seemed very reluctant to accept an order of the pies. I would say this is not a place for foodies, it’s very basic, but ok if you’re hungry without many options.

We had some time to kill and were hungry, so we checked on Google maps, and this place came up. We were welcomed by a friendly chap who spoke English. We decided to sit outside. We had the option of an English menu. I had a lamb donor and salad, and my partner had a moussaka, we also ordered a side of garlic baked potatoes. Both dishes were very well cooked and very tasty, and the portions were hearty. This restaurant is a bit posher than we would normally go to but the value and price were worth it. The above with 2 drinks came to approximately £28. You would pay treble in the UK. Give it a try.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here. It's peaceful and charming. The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the price was very good. We sat outside in the large garden but we could have sat inside which looked very classy. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return. Lots of choices on the menu. We had moussaka, lamb doner which came with a delicious salad and some baked potatoes with garlic. The portions were very generous! Including drinks we spent about £28. Worth every penny.

Toka Restaurant exceeded all expectations and delivered a truly fantastic dining experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the vibe was absolutely electric—chic, warm, and inviting. The selection of excellent music truly elevated the atmosphere and created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and fun evening. Beyond the atmosphere, the service was top-notch. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and provided proactive, friendly service that made us feel completely taken care of. And finally, the food! Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented, and, most importantly, the portion sizes were incredibly generous. You absolutely get amazing value for your money here. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit. Toka...
