After walking a while from the bus station into the centre of the city we were quite tired and looking for a guesthouse was even more tiresome after spending most of our time in the mountains and smaller towns....Brasov seemed so big. But we were SO LUCKY to have found Guesthouse Postavarului! Behind the big iron door is a quiet, cute, boutique guesthouse. We had a gorgeous room facing onto the street, but there was no loud noise at all. Great comfortable bed, large warm shower, and the friendliest owners...Andrei and his family! He gave us some apple juice and walnuts to try from his parents farm and if your lucky, you can try his homemade schnaps. Andrei is very charasmatic and has perfect english after living a while abroad. He also recommend us places to eat out. We really enjoyed meeting Andrei and his wife and we definately want to come back! Also the location is really right in town...2 minute walk to the main square. Guesthouse Postavarului is well worth a stay!! Thank you to Andrei and his wife again for the great time we had!...

Read moreThe location is truly something! You are right in the middle of everything, old city center, but still you can enjoy a quiet morning or evening. The room was cozy and clean and had all the amenities except aer conditioner however, mid august and you don’t even need it. The clean air surrounding this area is enough to keep the room temperature most comfortable and I am one who suffers from heat! :) I’ll try returning here...
