Dei Frati Restaurant — Restaurant in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

The service was spot on. Alexandra our waiter was amazing. She was very proactive. Employees where always smiling and having a nice attitude. The food was amazing and you should not miss this restaurant if you arrive in Brașov. The octopus burger was the best seafood dish that I had in the last years. As known by cooks is a bit difficult to properly cook octopus but this one was spot on. The place is cozy. If you’re coming to dei frati, you must try the ravioli with peer and gorgonzola. Extremely traditional dishes from Italy, didn't expect that accuracy. That's a total surprise. This should be on your "must-eat at" places besides the "must-visit" places in Brașov. One of the best pasta we've had in a long time anywhere in the world!just wow! Will come back for more. Since we are locals this is not the first time that we are going here and for shure it will not be the last. Just make sure to reserve a table in advance if possible. The place is almost always crowded, especially during the weekend. We enjoyed this restaurant three years ago on our first visit to Braşov. We couldn’t wait to come back. And it did not disappoint! We started with carpaccio which was presented beautifully and tasted perfect! I tried a pasta for my main course and my husband had steak. We tried the roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach sides. To finish we shared crème brûlée. Everything tasted wonderful. We have to comment on the great service. Last time we had a wonderful server. This time was no different. Anca was attentive without being intrusive. She was patient with our attempts to communicate in Romanian (she could speak English, but we try to practice Romanian language with people patient with us, as she was). We enjoyed it so much, we cancelled our reservation for the next night at a different restaurant and made a reservation to return here. We can’t wait to try different items from their menu. we had 2 experiences with them and both were excellent. We took take away food for the New Year and they were the only restaurant that helped us with that (the others didn’t want or said that they are closing).

The take away food was very quickly done (30 min), although they were fully booked. The food was delicious and made our at home celebration special.

We had a dinner reserved (never go there without a reservation, they are always full).

The service is exceptional and the food made our dinner very memorable. They are a small restaurant with a very cozy design. The menu is small but you have a very good selection. The wine list has very good wine selection.

The prices are approximately 100-150 ron per person (if you take to share 2-3 dishes). I would say it is a very good price for such high quality food and service.
