Nice traditional Pension on the edge of the Schei district with a wonderful view of Brasov, but absolutely very expensive for what then offered. The triple room was nice but full of unnecessary furnishings that took away from it (we couldn't find room for our suitcases); moreover, it was impossible to darken it, so in the morning the alarm clock might as well not be set. The bathroom had the necessary amenities but needed a lot of maintenance, especially the shower; moreover, the added bed for my little girl (who thankfully weighs less than 30 Kg) was totally unacceptable, broken down and with a mattress three or four inches thick. Breakfast finally so-so, due to the fact that you have to choose from preconstituted menus that take away flexibility and force you to consume things you would have avoided on your own Good wi-fi and a cable TV, but this is not enough to make a positive overall assessment of a totally anonymous service.
Response to the replay: Dear Pensiunea Brasovu Vechi, your staff was to be scolded (never insulted, I was impaired but not drunk) because upon my return, contrary to what had been guaranteed to me, I found the pension closed, forcing me to climb over dangerous bars to enter; however, this has nothing to do with my review, which I consider impartial as per my habit in the hundreds of reviews carried out throughout Europe. I don't think you could have emptied the room, replaced the bed, changed the bathtub (I still reported the leak to you, you told me you weren't aware of it) and installed blackout curtains during the three days of my stay even if you I had said. In any case, if you want to take my notes as a starting point for improvement, fine, otherwise, "without...
Read moreBooked this little hotel on a last minute whim as I was on a road trip around Romania. Brasov and this hotel were by far the highlight, I couldn't of been happier with this hotel.||We got given the best room and it blew us away. It was clean, tidy and was very spacious with everything we could possibly want in a room. An area with secure parking was included so no need to worry about the car being on the small streets. ||The owner (a lovely lady) went out of her way to make us comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. Even breakfast was made to your requirement. This is a lovely family run hotel and felt very personal to them which made the stay even more comforting.||The hotel is located within walking distance to town (between 5-10 mins) you had a great view of Mount Tampa on one side and a view over the city from the other side. ||It was an awesome stay and I would recommend this place to everyone. If i ever decide to go back this would be the place to stay for me. ||||Thank you for making our...

The bed was not double, just two single beds put together. ||||Breakfast continental very basic.||||Pool table: there are left only two pool cues in bad shape||||Staff: here is the difference from earth to sky - first day there was a very professional, kind, polite lady; ||the second day it was a boy not so interested in his job, phone addicted on the job - when I needed more bread, I had to go to the reception and ask for it, obviously he was on his phone instead of taking care of the clients, he was suppose to serve the breakfast and be there if someone need something. Also his attitude was wrong, he cleaned a table and there was a tissue paper on the floor, he was mad about it after he collected it, even if there was a family with two childs and this sort of...
