Blue Bell Penzión — Hotel in Košice

We were visiting Kosice for a wedding and booked through booking.com for 4 nights.

The room was great - rustic vibe with concrete floor and great bathroom/shower. Super clean and great air con with good TV options (not that we used it)

You can have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs from 8AM-2PM which was good as we had a very late night on the night of the wedding! The food options are a mix of traditional and Slovak options but around 8-10 items in total.

What was also great if you are travelling for pleasure is there are 3/4 other bars downstairs too. All modern, serving food and drinks until late with a good vibe to them. A large beer is also around £2.50.

There is some slight noise in the evening but this didn't bother us as we were out late most nights/tired from the day but they do provide ear plugs too.

You can opt to have your room cleaned as and when, we only requested once and they cleaned and tidied as well as made the beds and provided fresh towels.

It's also right in the centre of the city so everything is nearby (although Kosice is quite small to begin with)

Everything was just perfect. The person from the reception was very friendly, he explained nicely everything we wanted and needed to know. The staff from the breakfast place and from the restaurant was so friendly. The breakfast was simply amazing and delicious and the place was extremely cosy. The accomodation was great, the room and bathroom spacious enough, everything decorated in a cosy manner and equiped with everything you need. They have their own restaurant where the food is amazingly delicious and they have quite a lot of local dishes (especially the tacos and the pulled pork dumplings). You are right in the city center, close to the most of the tourist attractions, different bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Blue Bell was a great choice and if we will ever come back in Kosice we will definetly come back...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights on a recent trip to Kosice and we loved it. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained.|The beds were comfortable, the shower was amazing and it was all beautifully decorated.||The one thing that might bother people is the loud music from the bar downstairs. It didn’t bother us at night but it was pretty loud very early in the morning. I don’t mind a bit of Bruno Mars at 7.30am but some might.||I would definitely stay here again if I was...
