so apparently the show is at 9 pm — you're welcome, because they forgot to mention it literally anywhere. they rang exactly one song on the bells (carol of the bells, because of course) and then just... vibed. the lights and water were doing the most ✨, but the "singing" part? yeah, no. not even a hum. zero vocals. if this fountain is singing, then i'm beyoncé. nobody was singing. not a single soul. the fountain clearly missed the memo 📝. great vibes, but if you came here for a concert, bring your own microphone 🎤. amazing experience if you love false advertising 🚫 and wet light shows 💦.

In Košice, the Singing Fountain on Hlavná Street is such a nice spot — perfect for summer refreshment and good times. I spent so much time here with Tomi: the water jets, music, playful energy, kids everywhere, just full of life and positivity. The fountain isn’t just beautiful, it’s fun: we’d sit nearby, relax, watch the show, hear laughter, and feel the city breathe. Interesting fact: The Singing Fountain was built in 1986, making it the oldest “singing fountain” in the former Czechoslovakia.

My birthplace. A favorite evening attraction that is an exact copy of the Prague one. The underpinning technology is one of its kind. It pushes water to the rhythm of the music being played. It's not as easy as it sounds the resolve time is absolutely great. Very peaceful place and you can enjoy the light show with it in the evening. It is situated in Kosice high street that is registered and protected by UNESCO. It's in close proximity too a beautiful marginal theatre. The building is beautiful and compliments the fountain very well. You will not be disappointed if you visit this hidden pearl of this peaceful town. Lots to do there, very nice...

For many years I had this artistic piece in mind as "a must when visiting the Eastern Slovakia capital" :) I came around last time I was in Košice, and, I don't know, maybe it's just that I didn't have chance to sit and enjoy, but for some reason I didn't enjoy the sound following fountains. I think it lacks some sense for smoothness, music sounds too sharp and basically it is just fountain complex with music following it. I still love it, as it is one of Košice's characteristics, completing anyway astonishing city centre with some freshness, and water itself is always joyfull during sunny days, so I will always recommend to just go...
