The Beer House — Local services in Košice

First time visiting the Beer House and overall it was a great experience. The atmosphere downstairs was lively and welcoming. Special mention to Nikoletta at the downstairs bar — she was fantastic: super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. She really added to the experience.

We did head upstairs for a bit, but unfortunately the service there wasn’t quite the same — the waitress seemed disinterested and not very friendly, which was a bit disappointing. terrible staff. i nicely asked for the bill and one of the waitresses gave me an attitude and told me very rudely to wait that she has other customers to serve and if i had just waited she would be there. she proceeded to roll her eyes and yell out ,,i hate children” (i was with friends who look younger) while the other waitress just laughed at her comment. when we were paying she threw away the receipt. I treated them with respect while not receiving respect back. genuinely one of the most horrible customer service i’ve experienced. i understand that rush hour is stressful and waitresses have bad days but her attitude+ comment was...

Always a great atmosphere, big sortiment of draft beers and no matter what you choose to eat with your beer, full meal or snack, it's always tasty and freshly prepared. Price are average for a pub in city centre, however the whole experience is highly above average. Also recommend to sit at the table in the basement, it's even better. Only negative thing that comes to mind about this place is that Pilsner Urquel and Hoegarden beers aren't as good as in pubs that specialise on these beers, the rest of the beers are all really good.
