Kávy Sveta — Restaurant in Košice

I have been a returning customer of this place for more than 20 years, loving the atmosphere, the coffee the music. Today was the 1st - qute terrible - experience. I walked into an almost empty environment, meaning out of the 20+ tables 1 or 2 had a few customer maybe. I sat down to a table with good light so that I can have a virtual meeting. After ordering the (still great) cappuchino the staff felt oblidged to remind me - twice - that I am not supposed to be sitting at that table because it is reserved for the "probable" situation that 4 or more people would show up. I asked, you have an almost empty place, is this seriously your main concern now? Later I "more knowledgeable??" staff member cam and reminded me that in case anyone would should up I should move to a different table or leave. This is one of the most enjoyable cafés I've been to, located in the heart of the city. They have high quality coffee ☕, pleasant multilingual staff and great coffee house atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a wide selection of coffees and teas as well as wines and snacks, yummy cakes too. There is outdoor seating available in front of the café. The interior is very cosy decorated in style, there are lovely pictures hanging on the walls, a carpet and warm colored palette of decor. Atmosphere as whole was nice as allways, but there was different problem. Coffee was really bad. I had Sicilian espresso abs colegue had Italian espresso. Both were disgusting. (not to mention is th most expensive coffee place in Kosice) When we were leaving the place, there was actually another table that was returning their coffees because they weren’t satisfied. I would expect aswell much better service. Waiter was ukranian guy which didnt know proper Slovak and had black t shirt with ukranian writtings. Felt very unprofessional.
