Heugh Road Guest House — Hotel in Eastern Cape

We chose the property for a one night stay due to the close proximity to the airport. We really expected basics, (amenities and staff) however we couldn't have been more wrong. The property is beautifully presented and our accommodation so bright and cheery. All needs were met and more. It was as though friends had prepared for our stay making absolutely sure we would be comfortable and happy. Our hostess, Melinda, was wonderful, giving us personal advice and recommendations not only on where to eat but also how we should approach our car hire return and check in to the airport. Heugh Rood Guest House, words alone cant express how great it is. Friendly helpful Manager Melinda, always available. I had to book my Cross Country team from Prestige College into a place at the last minute. The first place I saw was Heugh Road and decided to call them. We only booked for one night and Melinda called me back informing me she spoke to the owner and they want to sponsor the group for the second nights accommodation. What a gesture. What a wonderful experience. I was welcomed so warmly by Melinda after a gruelling 33-hour journey back from Europe. I was so tired and she offered me something to eat, a lovely big comfortable room and such South African warmth and hospitality. It was like an oasis after my journey.
