Moonflower - Self Catering Cottages — Hotel in Gauteng

I spent 4 wonderful weeks at Moonflower Cottages and stayed in one of the self catering cottages. The cottages offer everything you need for a pleasant stay because they are fully equipped with all necessary kitchen items and provided a nice ambience embedded in a beautiful and well maintained garden. The pool is excellent and I used it every morning before breakfast. Very beneficial is the close by supermarket where you can buy your groceries. Moonflower Cottages has a very good energy backup system so that I had throughout may stay light and a fast internet connection also when there was load shedding. I felt throughout my stay super safe; the property is well secured and there is also a private security services taking care of the neighborhood. While staying at Moonflower Cottages I was overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of Jamie and Sylvia. They introduced me to their friends and invited me for several activities so that I felt part of the family. That made my stay unforgettable and I am looking forward to come back to...

Jamie was a courteous and friendly host both in initial email communications and in person. The setting was perfect for a medical trip lasting 10 nights - a secure, comfortable location in a peaceful suburb, with a small shopping centre very close by which was very useful for self-catering needs (Woolworths Food, Dischem) and it also had a good coffee shop. I appreciated being able to run on my own safely in the mornings to the nearby Delta Park, which was a great and safe venue for running or walking, with plenty of people out also exercising / walking their dogs. Charlotte was also very courteous and helpful with cleaning the cottage and doing laundry. Friendly dog and cats, too! I had a great stay at Moonflower! What service is all about! I am a huge animal lover especially dogs. We were greeted by Bella a sweet Border Collie (I lost my Border Collie in Oct 2021) she was the sweetest and loves to play ball. There are also some cats on property. My daughter is like the cat whisperer. Lol If there is a cat, she will fin them ( or rather they find her) We met Chaplin (A beautiful and soft black cat and he was loveable) an orange cat we named ginger, sweet and playful.
