4th Avenue Café - Parkhurst — Restaurant in Gauteng

So, I was told (by the manager on duty today in an extremely arrogant and disrespectful manner) that I can no longer work and have meetings at this café. I supposedly don't spend enough to warrant sitting at a table for a few hours to conduct meetings even though I order in excess of 5 cups of coffee for both myself and each interviewee.

My concern is that I have been there on multiple occasions and I've seen many people working there for prolonged periods. I don't really understand why certain customers are treated differently, I find it a bit discriminatory.

Will never recommend your store to anyone nor will I be supporting you...

Absolutely AWFUL! So I needed a quick breakfast and asked the waitress for avo on toast, she comes back 2 minutes later and says because avos are out of season it'll cost another R20, so now will cost over any above the menu price R75 for avo on toast, so I say no can we rather have mince on toast, 2 minutes later back again and the mince is not ready yet, so I say okay, dont worry, I'll get breakfast elsewhere can I please just have an orange juice, she says we dont have orange juice, lol....how is this place...

Had 2 coffee orders on 3rd March. Very poor service as well as poorly made coffee. Asked for the sugar to be dissolved in iced coffee order, this was ignored. Coffees arrived at different times. Simple order of 2 coffees should be quick and easy. When payment was made , money was withheld (shortchanged deliberately) and when asked the person behind the counter eventually said she had no change and then produced the change immediately.
