Ate at the restaurant here, and it is a very cute place to dine at. All the decoration here is very aesthetically pleasing to be surrounded by, as it gives me a "greenhouse" vibe. The staff is very friendly, and helped us to be comfortable when we needed to move the table away from the sun, and helped put up an umbrella to block out more sun when needed. The food here is yummy, and very good portions. However, the food and cocktails did take longer than expected, and there was no updates or anything to inform us how much longer the food was going to take (we waited around 1 hour and 15 min for our food) One huge downfall is the parking space here. There is hardly any parking (around 5 spaces, which are mainly reserved for hotel guests) and if you want to park, you are requested to park 7 min away (by the SuperSpa) and you have to walk up a very steep hill to get to the restaurant. But overall, besides the walk, and slow delivery of food/drinks. I did enjoy it here.

So In my quest to find the best Breakfast in the country. Pablo Eggs-Go bar has been on the list for a while. We decided to go there for a early Sunday breakfast. I really like the menu. They not scared to add some spice to breakfast. Being of Mediterranean background myself it's what i like. We arrived to very attentive staff saying that we could sit at the table we wanted but it was booked for later. So we could not stay long. However we had more than enough time. The coffee is one of the best Lattes I've had in a while. The food was really out of this world. You can tell that there is someone that knows their way around spices in the kitchen. It was well balanced and my other half you always adds salt never even looked at it. The toast was great and I'd say. Go there if you into good breakfast.

Beautifully designed with refreshing views of the Melville Koppies and man-made forest towards Randburg and Sandton. Ideal for a catch up date with a friend or colleague during the day and a romantic date with your partner at night. The staff are very friendly and they play beautiful, diverse music at a low to mid volume. It won't interrupt your conversations. There is some parking available, but mostly street side parking and it is safe. Making a reservation is a must!!! The food is tasty and the menu is somewhat diverse but simple. They have small plates for light lunch and main plates that are more ideal for dinner. Pizza is available. Great place with a diverse and tasty menu. You will want to it everything. The chips were a bit greasy for my liking.

The art and location are nice. Scratch the surface though, and this place completely ignores the details. On arrival we were offered a welcome drink and asked to fill out a form. We were not given details of breakfast, check out, layout of the hotel etc and were otherwise ignored. We were then told to get up and move to the rooms as our bags were being moved. No chance to finish our drinks. We were placed in room 8 which is a huge self-contained apartment. Our bags were placed in the bathroom. There are stains on the couch. The wifi did not work from evening until the next day. The pillows on the bed were as flat as pancakes and terribly uncomfortable- my husband and I are awoke at 4am unable to sleep. There is one enormous window with no curtain for privacy. It rained heavily overnight and by morning there was a flood outside our door. They offered to organise a transfer to the airport that cost more than what I paid in Switzerland. We made a reservation for dinner at 730pm and requested a window seat, which the person at reception confirmed and booked on the computer. When we arrived at 720pm we were informed the kitchen was going to close at 730 and were not given the window seat as it had been ‘booked’ for someone else. We saw no one else arrive. It was too dark to read the menus and the lights came on as we were about to finish our meal. All in all a weird and disappointing stay for the last night of our honeymoon. I would not stay here again, I think they are going for a trendy vibe that might suit a hostel or a backpackers...

Overall.||Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. The rooms and service were excellent, and the bar and restaurant were so convenient, serving excellent food. ||The most amazing thing was how good value the hotel was. ||The Good.||1. The hotel is in Melville and has great view towards Sandton and the city. It is a handy location to visit the main attractions. ||2. The hotel is aiming for hip and happening and achieves it well. The lobby is full of interesting art and a large fireplace. The bar and restaurant are equally funky and have good views. There is an outside space with pizza oven. ||3. The rooms are very large and have great double aspect views of the city. Beds are large and very comfortable. The a/c is good, and there is a fridge, bottled water and a Nespresso machine. Again, local art adorns the walls. Pretty much faultless.||4. The bathrooms are minimalist in design. They have a great shower and good toiletries.||5. There is a nice pool area, though it is a bit cold to use in winter.||6. The food in the restaurant was very good- reasonably international and excellent pizzas. Prices were good, and so was the service.||7. The staff were very good and exceptionally helpful. The front desk organised a day trip and organised it late the night we arrived for the next day. It worked perfectly.||8. The hotel is amazing value for money. It was much cheaper than other similar standard hotels in town. We had some laundry done, and it was really cheap.||The...
