al-falah restaurant & takeway — Restaurant in Gauteng

Alfalah ......... I took a long time before writing this review. I buy from this restaurant each and every week, for as long as the shop stands. I buy personally in the shop and if @ work, I buy from Uber Eats for myself and colleagues . There are times I place an order for 12 or more meals. Especially on a Friday, I order more than once in a single day, Before I found that if you order late you don't get the best food. Sometime ago I found a COCKROACH in my breyani I did call to complain . I still continued buying food from them . Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today I ordered In the shop and when i got to work my colleagues also wanted to order. I did so with Uber Eats. @ 11:30 I been waiting it is now 14:39 the driver took our food back to the store and now the store wont ANSWER THE PHONE , because they lying saying they called Uber Eats , But they did not. 4 HOURS LATER , STILL NO FOOD. YET I PAID FOR OUR MEALS ALREADY .. NOT PROFESSIONAL...

I give it a minus 10 I ordered mutton curry and chicken kariha(not sure the spelling) and it was KAK to be polite the mutton was so salty like they trying to hide the fact that it's old the chicken literally tasted like it was cooked in Tikka chicken I was eating a bucket of tika chicken sauce it was terrible the only thing that was editable was the Nan can the health inspectors closes that place down never ever again this is the 3rd time the food is so putrid second chances are not for everything...

Al Falah has the typical menu with curries; tandoori chicken and naan. We enjoyed the bunny chow too. The decor and ambience is reminiscent of Indian restaurants throughout the world. Mismatched tablecloths; plastic chairs; shiny overlays :) The food and service was fantastic! Friendly considerate restaurant manager who brought us a heater to keep us warm and attentive waiter.
