Pretoria Backpackers Hostel — Hotel in Gauteng

A friend recommended the Pretoria Backpackers as decent and affordable accommodation but when we got there, we hit two or three (or even more) birds with one stone. The place is not only affordable to many, but quiet and secure with friendly staff under the great leadership of Marinda and Francois who made sure that we were comfortable all the time and also managed all our local trips. ||Another plus is the location which is not far away from either the CBD or the Bus Rank as well as many other businesses. A shopping Mall is a few minutes` walk away for essentials and all this gives a guarantee of being home away from home. I am Managing Director of a the South African/African operation of a Global Defence Supply Chain Specialist Organisation and absolutely loved staying at Pretoria Travellers Lodge last week when i attended the Africa Aerospace & Defence Show! The room, with shower/toilet was comfortable and neat and the made to order breakfast really good. The best feature of this establishment was the ambiance created by the large, broad cool veranda where one could work or socialize with the wonderful family who live in the home always on hand but never imposing. The place is not really bad but it was not good to share the place with somebody that I did not know more espacial to the situation that we are in now because the place did not even provided me with sanitizers to limit the possibility of covid 19.
