A great place for holidays or just to take a break from all else. Direct access to the beach, and a great swimming pool with "jacuzzi" (more like kiddies pool). Most of the staff has been friendly and helpful, especially security guards, who are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Only problem is the cleaning staff who, despite using white sheets, don't change the sheets so that you can request a change of sheets and R200 is charged. Sue, the owner of unit 25, even though we have not met her, must be the most attentive hosts I have ever come across. The place itself is perfectly situated and really clean and neat. Provision of beach toys for the kids and beach chairs for the adults are also made. We spent the weekend there in celebration of our 33rd wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised with a good bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and some really tasty chocolates. Right on the beach. Large adult pool with kiddie pool in fenced area. Great for kids of all ages. Braai facilities around the pool. The units are comfy and clean but are a little tired. I guess being so close the ocean does mean the facilities are hammered by the sea air. Each unit is fitted with aircon which is an absolute winner in summer. They are pay as you go, which is understandable. R100 gets you through a couple of days.
