La Perle — Hotel in KwaDukuza Local Municipality

La Perle spoiled my husband and I for our one year anniversary. We were welcomed with a tasy fruit juice and had a fruit and chocolate platter waiting in the room. They catered to every detail by folding the towels like swans, placing rose petals in our initials on the bed, setting up candles for a romantic bath, setting a table in our room, and so much more. They prepared the most delicious three course meal with a lovely bottle of wine and served us with such kindness. We felt so special and they made sure the evening was absolutely perfect. We couldn't of asked for better. We had a wonderful night's rest and the spoils carried on all the way until we left by having a wonderful breakfast and the best cappuccino. I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. Everything was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to be helpful with anything I needed. Their warmth made the place feel like home. Reception is great. The load shedding is extremely inconvenient. I can't count the number of times I've been without a phone cause my battery is flat and have no where to charge it. Also have to eat breakfast at a set time due to the kitchen not being connected to a generator. I missed breakfast today due to me not waking up hungry at 6am on my holiday and not keeping track of the time during this small window. I expect I will be missing it tomorrow again as check out is 9am and breakfast is 7 till 9. So unless I want to wake up extra early on my last day and force feed myself, I will go without again. I would not stay here again if this issue was not resolved by purchasing a generator. Every other business in the area has had to as well,...
