I don’t recommend this hotel at all. I couldn’t sleep for my 3 nights stay. First thing, the reception doesn’t understand English. They didn’t know about my reservation. After 10 minutes, I was given my room keys. The room was clean but the trouble began at night. Light was constantly coming out through the blinds and curtains. I don’t know why they had see through white blinds and mesh curtains. I called the receptionist but she didn’t understand my message. Second day, complained to trip.com. They called the hotel but the management lied and said the guests have been upgraded to a different room. Nobody contacted us but they were constantly lying to trip.com. I went to the receptionist and asked her to fix light issues. There was also a lot of construction sound and I was really tired after sleepless nights. The receptionist said she would get it fixed on the 3rd day but that was a lie too. Nobody came to fix the light problem. There was no balcony as advertised. Kitchenware was missing. The staff doesn’t understand simple English like cutlery. Nobody came to collect trash or give water during my 3 nights stay. Hotel looks stylish but their customer service is terrible. I don’t recommend staying in this hotel especially if you are a foreigner. I took these pictures at 6 am in the morning when I was awake because of sunlight and construction noise. During the night, city lights were coming in. Trip.com compensated me with 1500 coins but that doesn’t soothe the 3 sleepless nights. My entire trip was uncomfortable because...
Read moreWORST hotel of our South Korea trip — avoid this property. While the property looks new, it is poorly managed and customer service is non-existent.
The kitchen was empty except for two cups. I have food allergies and chose this hotel specifically because it listed a fully equipped kitchen. When I asked, I was told guests are not allowed to cook. I felt cheated and requested a refund so I could stay at another hotel, but my request was ignored.
Cleanliness was another major issue. Dirty floors, stains on glass doors and the bathroom, and unwashed slippers. Housekeeping is only every three days and very limited—bath towels and soap were not replaced, and we were told to leave trash in the hallway.
Staff were consistently rude and needs serious training. Every interaction we had with reception was unpleasant. One evening, when the automated parking system stopped working, I asked for help. The receptionist, who was watching something on his phone, showed clear annoyance at being interrupted. After attempting to operate the system himself without success, he told us to park in the EV charging spot, which likely created problems for another guest.
Our stay was also affected by other issues: unreliable internet in the room, lack of bath towels, and waiting 20 minutes for a bill at checkout.
They offer free parking in exchange for good reviews, which may explain some of the high ratings. See attached picture.

Read moreLocation is perfect, steps away from Haeundae metro station and beach (5-10 mins walk), and modern rooms (even with a “new”/ fresh smell upon walking in). Plenty of eateries nearby. There’s even a washing machine in the unit (that we didn’t use) - you can buy detergent from the front desk - I don’t see any drying capabilities, but there’s a balcony. Now, the blinds in our room don’t completely block light (it will be bright during daytime), so bring along an eye mask if that’s a concern. Also, there’s construction happening next to the building, so there were some noise disturbances (nothing too major, but still a concern) in the mornings during our stay. There were also some English communication barriers with staff (and also gadgets like remote controls), but nothing that time, translation apps and hand gestures couldn’t solve. The bed is also on the firmer end (more Korean style I presume). Also do note the 3 pm/ 4 pm (during weekend/ peak days) check in and 11 am checkout time which is slightly later/ earlier than what we’re used to, and that housekeeping happens every 3 days (we stayed for 2 nights, so no room cleaning, but we could exchange for fresh towels from the front desk according to the info sheet).Overall, I would still stay here if I am to return to Busan as its value is pretty good, and for its new/ modern rooms close...
