My friend and I were visiting from Southern California so we know Mexican food. If you’re looking for a spot with authentic Mexican food with a Texas bbq influence this is the spot. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice enough for a date night , group dinner , or a regular night out for some delicious food. I repeat THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. We ordered a Tejano platter and added chicharrón because….why not?! There is a huge selection of tequila here but before we got shots our server suggested some cocktails for us to try. The cocktails were tasty and well balanced but still packed a punch. Then the food got to the table. The chicharrón was crispy and crunchy on the outside and still easily pulled apart, next I tried the brisket and it was so tender my fork broke it apart, the carnitas were juicy and had the crispy bits too (drooling). Now, I’ll admit ,I was kind of hesitant about going to a Texas Mexican bbq place because I’m Mexican and our bbq doesn’t really use a Texas bbq sauce……Tejanos does it right! The pitmaster balanced the smokey and sweet flavors of the bbq ribs to pair perfectly with all of their salsas the meat fell right off the bone. Another highlight of the meal were the side dishes because a lot of spots leave them as an afterthought. THE FLOUR TORTILLAS ARE HANDMADE!!! I was in Busan and as soon as I took a bite of the tortilla I was transported back in my grandmas kitchen in Mexico! So good! The Mexican rice and beans were cooked to perfection , their corn was like have esquite on the streets of Tijuana, the salsas had different levels of heat and each of them were freshly made. Do yourself a favor and try this place if...

Found this place by zooming in on maps and looking at restro labels haha. Just had to try it out after reading some reviews and convincing my wife eating Texas BBQ in Korea was critical(and promising we'd go to Haemok next door after; it's amazing too!).
Smashed a Tejano plate myself and paired it with a nice shot of Añejo.
The brisket I would rate being as good as any I've had in Texas. Good pink zone, very moist, and with a nice solid black bark. Received a good selection of fatty, medium, and a few leaner slices. Excellent smoked flavor.
Ribs were better than any I've had in Texas. IMHO Texas BBQ ribs, while not bad, aren't the main event like in New Orleans or Memphis. These impressed with a great bark and flavor, and with how moist and tender they were. The meat is likely to fall off the bone just picking them up haha.
The plate came with a nice selection of sides and condiments. Pico de gallo, salsa, salsa verde!, jalapenos, charro beans, and house made tortilla all tasting fresh and excellent.
I probably enjoy charro beans 4x more than the average person, so I was very happy these were present haha. Nice little kick built in that you don't really get in Texas but was very appreciated.
Anyway, the ambiance and decor is fantastic and the patio has a great view. The owner stopped by to check on the tables and was friendly. I can't recommend this place enough if you love...
