Gwanganmok Haeundae — Restaurant in Busan

This was our favourite Korean bbq restaurant on our entire trip. It set the benchmark every time we visited a different one (we tried five in total), and the conclusion was here, on-recommend this place to others. The staff are professional, attentive & friendly, and there's a great vibe & atmosphere when dining here.

To make things easy, we ordered the Signature B set menu for 79,900 KRW (split by three), mixed pork shoulder & pork belly with included traditional side dishes - which was just the right amount. Their speciality is dry-aged pork, and oh my, it's so delicious! As an added bonus, the sides are also refillable at the self-service bar.

Among all the bbq places, this is on thay specialises in wet aged pork. All they have is pork. Truly an amazing place from the table setup and eating experience. They'll first partially cook the pork before bringing it to you and finishing it at the stove at the table. Compared to regular porrk, wet aged pork has a deeper flavour. It has not gamy taste. Just dipping it in their grind pepper and spice mixture is all thay is needed. The soy bean pepper paste goes well with the pork. Price wise it value for money. Tried the cold. I arrive around 5:30pm on a Friday. Not that busy when I got in, but slowly got busy. The staff were very friendly. Good explanation on how things work. Extra side dish was nice. I got the set A for two people. Also doing the review for the makgeoli shake 😅. The makgeoli shake was very good in my opinion, and being free is a plus 😂. Set A was very good.
