Can Vent Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Alcúdia

Stayed here for 5 nights very nice hotel, inside the old town of Alcudia. If you are arriving by car you need to park just outside the old town walls there is plenty of parking nearby and also across the main road. Only thing is to choose your parking well otherwise you might have a bit of hassle navigating with bags to the hotel. ||The hotel is two buildings and doesn't have a reception, you just walk in and get somebody's attention. They overbooked our room and put us into another room for the first night, it wasn't a major problem and they resolved it with no fuss involved also deducted 10euro as a goodwill gesture. ||The restaurant at the hotel is actually very good and definitely worth booking it at least once while staying here. Seafood is to die for. ||There are plenty of decent restaurants close by and it's a great to stroll through the old town in the evenings. Also it's a great base to travel around and explore the North East coast. ||This Hotel is a 3 star accommodation with a 4 star restaurant in a 5 star town and perfect for a few days to enjoy Mallorcan lifestyle.||The breakfast is not great, it's very limited, hardly any decent fruit and only one small toaster so if there are other guests expect a queue time. Also the coffee on display is not great but if you ask for a proper coffee they will make you one. ||The rooms are small and modest most don't have a balcony which would be handy for hanging up a towel after a day at the beach however the...

I stayed here recently with a friend and it is quite possibly one of the worst places I have ever been.||||We'd asked for a twin room but were given one with a double bed (not ideal but ok) but it had a bath with shower in the corner of the bedroom with no shower curtain or privacy! We asked to move, having requested a twin room on booking. We were told there wasn't one available that night but they would see what they could do in the morning. ||||In the morning we spoke to the manager who was aggressive from the outset. He told us they didn't have any twin rooms in the hotel and it was our issue with booking.com not his. He took no interest in the issue and became visibly agitated and confrontational very quickly. We asked if we could cancel as this was not what we had booked but he said no and offered no flexibility. As a manager of a hotel I found this extraordinary. His aggressiveness and lack of willingness to find a solution was very unpleasant.||||In the end we cut our stay short as we didn't feel comfortable staying somewhere in the face of such hostility. ||||Key reasons not to stay here:||Rude aggressive manager ||Sheets and towels only changed once a week (as per welcome booklet in room)||Slow wifi||Poor breakfast selection with rotten fruit||Minimal toiletries provided||Toilet paper listed...

Pur avendo prenotato la nostra camera al Can Simo (hotel esattamente accanto a questo) io ed il mio compagno siamo stati indirizzati a Can Vent. Anche se la camera non era in stile rustico come da prenotazione, l’impatto iniziale era stato positivo. |Entusiasti dalla vasca idromassaggio dopo il lungo viaggio ci tuffiamo subito dentro, fin qui tutto bene, ma nel giro di pochi minuti ci troviamo a fare il bagno con un’acqua piena di vermi neri ed impurità rilasciate dai filtri. Nonostante lo schifo e la seccatura con molta gentilezza facciamo presente il fatto alla signora in reception, la quale, senza rivolgerci alcun tipo di scusa per l’accaduto contatta la signora delle pulizie per un controllo. Quest’ultima dopo aver preso visione del fatto ci assicura una maggiore pulizia. Ma se il problema proviene dai filtri come può una donna delle pulizie risolverlo? Il giorno seguente solo per curiosità facciamo ripartire i getti della iacuzzi e si ripresenta la stessa situazione, sporco e vermi!!|Passa un altro giorno, ci svegliamo presto la mattina pronti per un’altra giornata, ci avviciniamo alla vasca e...Sorpresa!! Due bei scarafaggi usciti dallo scarico, che puntualmente rimuovevamo per poi ritrovarceli il giorno seguente. |Facciamo presente nuovamente la cosa ma ci viene risposto che è un problema che riguarda tutta Alcudia. Di fondo la nostra delusione sta soprattutto nella non professionalità di chi a gestito le nostre segnalazioni, sarebbe bastato poco per rimediare, anche solo semplicemente uno “scusate il disguido, ci dispiace.”|Anche la pulizia in generale è stata scarsa, sia in camera che soprattutto nel bar esterno in cui avevamo la colazione, che non era infatti direttamente nello stabile in cui abbiamo alloggiato, ma ad un centinaio di metri di distanza. |Colazione misera, piatti non lavati bene. Pessimo anche il posizionamento dei bicchieri per il succo, su un ritaglio rovinato di velluto perennemente sporco ed impolverato. |Wi-fi che funziona ad intermittenza, a tratti si a tratti proprio no!|L’unico aspetto positivo è la posizione, nel centro storico con un ampio parcheggio vicino.|Di hotel a 4 stelle ne abbiamo visti molti, ma questo non le merita affatto.|Concludo solo dicendovi che se riuscite a sopportare vermi, scarafaggi e polvere questo è l’hotel che...
