AVOIDAVOIDAVOID ||||what is the story with the dog that barks all night and lives on the first floor? in the guest room? ||||so i had a booking with these people through booking.com||||having 2 brain tumours and lower body cancer i had been extremely tired and just wanted to lay down. ||||the place has no air conditioning it stank of sweat and sewage. the doors with the dangerous electrical cables hanging everywhere which are live did not close . there is an indian restaurant which extracts high spiced garlic smelks directly into your room which the door does not close so it's impossible to escape. ||||the air conditioning is broken painted over more wires coming out of walls i mean this place is a hazardous how did they pass health and safety . ||||the toiket has ecoli rotting the base unit bathroom sink and door handels the toilet flushes and there is a tiny wet room with the stench which wafes. ||||i had an ordeal which the police had to be called as i was unsatisfactory with the room. i started to become really unwell and my legs and feet swollen up to the point of four times my shoe size. ||||after i complained about the state of the room they completely ignored me and walked out leaving me to skeep in reception until the police were called who apologised on behalf of spain . i tried to sleep in the dangerously hazardous stinky sweaty sewage of a room but i was in so much pain caused by the distress of the whole ordeal. ||||i was in so much pain i had to take my rucksack my passport i couldn't wanlk lift my hands properly due to the stress reaction and i had to leave my good clothes and suitcase behind in a taxi to the airport with all the cash i had as i had give them my bank cards to pay the tourist tax earlier which they did not return. ||||I got to the airport and collapsed this was tuesday this week 5am, tgere was a doctors office and a hospital they wanted to tske me to the main public hospital but i forgot my cancer medicine and i just wanted to get home. ||||Can i just say a huge thank you to all the staff special assistance at palma airport you saved my life as i was close to a blood clot with the stress. ||||Avoid these people this situation almost killed me and they laughed and walked past me in spanish. ||||The rooms are a disgrace and tge staff are worse. ||||i will be filling legal action against them after i go to hospital and have my treatment next week. ||||nobody will have to go through that. ||||Avoid Avoid Avoid...

I stayed here recently and unfortunately found it to be poor value for money. The accommodation wasn’t filthy, but it certainly wasn’t properly cleaned either. While the bedsheets were changed daily (or at least the beds were made), the room itself wasn’t cleaned—proof being the leg of the cockroach I killed on day one, which stayed on the bathroom floor for my entire stay. I only saw one cockroach in total, which is hard to avoid entirely in some climates, but the lack of cleaning was clear.

My room had no sea view—actually, no view at all. I didn’t pay for the sea view at the time of booking but I didn’t expect to get no view and frosted glass. The photos online are very misleading in that regard. The WiFi didn’t work in my room at the back of the building, and although staff kept telling me a technician would “come tomorrow,” it became obvious they knew it was a long-standing problem and were just fobbing me off. I also had no phone coverage whatsoever from my room, which made staying connected nearly impossible.

On the positive side, the staff are friendly and pleasant to deal with, but honesty about the WiFi and phone coverage would have been appreciated.

The shower is another major drawback—it’s so small you can hardly move, with oversized hot taps right in the way. Every time I used it, the bathroom floor flooded.

Pillows on the bed were terrible. Might as well not be there. The shower gel had a lovely scent. The air con I thought was quite good.

Overall, it’s overpriced for what you get, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

People who book this hostel do get fooled by the pictures like we did, the pictures are showing higher standard room, standard rooms have horrible bathrooms that floods the bathroom floor as well as room floor, I tried to speak to receptionist, but he just gave me a strange look, waved his hand and walked away, which made me feel as if I was some stupid guy who stayed there for free. Aircon never worked. Even thought before we booked it we left a comment saying we wanted a double room with balcony we got twin room without balcony and the room next door that had a balcony was vacant all the time of our stay. We asked for room 106 as we were in 107, receptionist said he would change it and never mentioned it again. He was very irritated when we arrived later than expected, he decided not wait for us and left a key in our room.The next day he found us as we needed to pay the tourist tax, but was unable to find us to change our room. No one ever answers a call in this hotel. We had to get travel republic to get hold of them . Our rate is 3.5 overall as the location...
