Weve been coming to Bella Vista every holiday for almost 10 years... but not sure if there has been a change of ownership or chef. We used to go here for the atmosphere, friendly staff and AMAZING food. This week we returned and had a Longue sandwich for a late morning snack... my son and I had the chicken and bacon and the chicken was dry and tough 😩 Bacon overdone and it took a VERY long time despite it not being busy and the tables that were there mostly just having coffee or cold drinks. Everyone seemed to be waiting a long time for service...we had 2 choxolate milkshakes and asked for it without cream... both came WITH cream and really not alot to them for €6.50 each.... We were told they were ice cream milkshakes but there was no ice cream in them and mostly froth. Staff members kept arriving for afternoon shift and spent time drinking coffee and talking between themselves there were about 6 that we saw in the end with only about 6 tables to serve and we couldnt get anyones attention for the Bill for 20 minutes. We were never asked how the food was or if we wanted more drinks...then the toilets!!!! OMG. They are in desperate need of a refit... in the ladies one was out of order and the other had a broken door lock which had a note saying dont use the lock....??! So I had to use the toilet whilst holding the door handle shut.... in case anyone walked in!!! The toilets and sinks were grim!!! Such a massive disappointment for a once awesome restaurant.. I just hope it was a bad day but having just read other recent reviews it seems not. Come on Bella Vista you guys were great!!!! Hopefully you can turn...

At 10:30 a.m., I ordered my breakfast and simply asked to replace the orange juice with water—a simple request that was denied. My order consisted of a plain croissant, without any extras. After complaining and waiting 15 minutes, I was finally served the croissant, but it came dusted with powdered sugar, which I had not asked for. Additionally, I was informed that there was no strawberry jam available. By this time, I had already finished my coffee and would have had to order another one to eat the croissant, which I found unacceptable and inedible in this form.
What was particularly frustrating was that the restaurant was almost empty—of the approximately 50 tables, only 4 were occupied. If the waiting time is this long with such low occupancy, one can only imagine how it would be if the place were full. The service was disappointing, inflexible, and...
Read moreThe worst restaurant experiense ever. Had to ask four times (45 mins) for correct drinks. Food arrived, Rib eye, the meat wasn’t able to cut even with a steak knife. The personell wasn’t possible to contact, undermanned, sause didn’t come even after three callings, the personell just argued about if we orderd three or four. No sause. Stated to the man cleaning the table that the meat was bad (after ensuring me he spoke english), he said he would bring the message. The bill arrived with the Rib eye. Non of the staff recognised all complaints, the manager wasnt’t there, they said the sn cleaining didn’t speak english an then threatend to call the POLICE! Stay away! At all, we were lucky, because another guest got food poisoning at the time...
