I stayed here for 4 nights with my partner during our trip to Barcelona. Overall we were really happy with the hotel and happy with our choice, there were just some small points that would have made the experience even better. Good Points - great spacious room, was nice and clean when we arrived - the bed was amazingly comfy, super soft pillows and a crisp duvet - lovely big shower - there’s a 24hr mini market next door which is handy Points for improvement - every morning when housekeeping came around they would shout to each other and repeatedly let doors slam shut, it was super loud every day and woke me up, I’m not even a light sleeper - there was no trash bin in the room, only a tiny one next to the toilet in the bathroom, it’s hard to keep the room tidy without one - I completed the early check-in info online with all our correct details so the process would be faster when we arrived, yet it took 15 minutes standing at the desk for the receptionist to check all our details again. She said their system often makes mistakes. She said “it is important to be correct because if anything happens to you these details are needed by the police”. Not quite the thought you want in your head the moment you arrive haha - we weren’t told that the outside sliding doors lock at a certain time so my partner got stuck outside without his key along with 2 other guests until they shouted up to me on the balcony and I ran down. - we didn’t figure out we had a fridge until our final day. It was in one of the 5 cupboards under the sink in the bathroom. Although the heat generated by the fridge basically counteracts any cooling.

This hotel was in a great location. The building itself was old and stuffy and not much fresh air. Most rooms do not look like the pictures on the reviews. They are large, but stuffy, and no windows. Another negative point was that there was nowhere to park to unload our luggage into the hotel. The staff was very casual but helpful and nice. There was absolutely no amenities in the rooms, not even water. The beds were very comfortable tough. BIG BIG REDFLAG: WE HAD NO HOT WATER FOR 2 DAYS. So we had to shower with absolutely cold water for 2 days, and our group included 3 seniors. Would not go back under any circumstances. Was more of an apartment than a hotel. In fact, it used to be a house to a rich Barcelonan family which was later turned into a hotel. Some rooms still have remnants of the mosaic floors or painted roofs. Our room was so small we had no where to put the second suitcase. My father and I were in the same room, so we kept his suitcase and I took mine into my mother's room. Do not recommend. Again, thanks to the staff for doing their best to accommodate.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location is very convenient - you are close enough to a lot of main attractions, but you are far away from the ruckus of La Rambla and Gothic Quarter. Loved that the TV was a smart TV and you could cast music and Youtube to it. I know it's nothing significant, but I have yet to stay at a hotel, let alone a 3-star hotel, that has this feature. The room itself is small, but the bathroom felt very spacious and there was ample space to store our clothes and luggage. Loved the water pressure of the shower and eco-friendly toiletries. Blackout curtains were life saving, but any noise in the corridors can be easily heard. The bed is a bit soft for my liking and the pillows were too poofy that my neck did not feel comfortable. Overall, a great stay! Note: 3.03EUR per night city tax applies.

Let's begin with this hotel was around the corner from the famed Casa Battló. We were steps from Las Ramblas, The Montjuïc, and Port Vell. So very well situated.||The hotel would easily be missed as it is a narrow entryway amongst many doorways and there is no doorman. Upon entry through automated glass doors there is a beautiful staircase or you can take the elevator up to check-in. Elevators in Europe are very small. Either two people or one person and a suitcase - keep this in mind always. We were early, so we did check in and our luggage was tagged and we had the chits. We took a walk and returned to go to the room.||The hallways were quiet, beautifully painted and black sconces adorned the walls. The room was SMALL and very tasteful. The bathroom was HUGE actually and had everything we needed - towels, hair dryer, tissue, soap, etc. ||The bed was also huge and pretty much took up all the space. Comfortable for sure. The wallpaper was sweet and all the curtained areas made the space feel feminine, safe and nesty. ||The wardrobe was small but did what it should. We had a fridge as well. One curiosity of the room was an enclosed balcony. It didn't FEEL like a balcony but I can't imagine what else it was. It felt like something from maybe the 1900s and I loved it! French doors, a writing desk and chair, and lamp. I kept my suitcase there. It looked over an empty parking area and up at I think apartments. At night, I closed the doors and pulled the heavy drapes to darken the room. ||We had daily cleaning service and that was that. Clean, cute, well-located. The building next door housed a small supermarket if you need ANYTHING. Which...
