This hotel is located in a great and lively location close to great food and nightlife. The hotel and room itself definitely fit the 5 star category especially since we got a suite with a terrace. The check process went pleasant and that is about where the 5 star service ends. We checked in and left our bags as we had a tour booked and upon return we were told our room would be ready and our bags would be dropped off in the room. Upon our return the room was ready however the bags were not in the room. We attempted to call downstairs but the phones in the room didn’t work, I then had to go back to the front desk to ask about my bags. At that point they realized that the bags were not sent up and proceeded to hand me the 2 backpacks and 2 suitcases rather than offer to send the bags up as soon as possible, again this isn’t too bad bad to make a statement that the bags are in the room and then proceed to dump them all on me didn’t sit well. I looked past this inconvenience and I wanted to enjoy my vacation so we then proceed to get ready for dinner up on the hills. We left for dinner and came back around midnight at which we were having a wonderful time and when we attempted to open the door to our room the key wouldn’t work and the keycard reader to the door didn’t seem to be responding, we know this can happen in error where the keycards get deactivated so I went back to the lobby. The night desk then proceeded to attempt to open the door with the “master keycard” however due to the keycard reader not responding he couldn’t open the door. We then sat at the lobby where they were kind enough to bring us a glass of wine while we waited for both night desk people to open the door. At the end they stated that they couldn’t get the door open and that our only option would be that we need to wait until morning for maintenance to get there. We were beyond shocked that the hotel doesn’t have a manual override or key to open a hotel room. We were then placed in a temporary room down the hall from our original room and were given 2 toothbrushes like that’s enough they can do for the night. My girlfriend wears contacts and only brought 1 set for the trip so she either ran the risk of getting an eye infection if she keeps them in or the contacts dry out and she can’t see for the rest of the trip, so here I am at 2am looking for a 24hr pharmacy. Again at this point there wasn’t much of an apology more of a oh well I guess we’ll wait until tomorrow. When we get into the room it smelled like feces or more like someone #2 and left it in the toilet, due to how unhelpful the staff had been at this point and how exhausted we were we elected to open the balcony doors and attempt to air out the room. We then slept a little and were told at 7am if we can leave the current temporary room so that maintenance can use the room to access our original room where all our stuff is in including our passports, they did this by offering to “comp” us entry to breakfast. Keep in mind we are still in our clothes from dinner the night before in which I’m wearing a blazer and khakis and my girlfriend was in her makeup and dress from the night before. We didn’t feel comfortable with going down to breakfast looking the way we did and the front desk just didn’t quite understand why for some reason even after explaining how we are dressed and look terrible from the lack of sleep, so then we’re stranded in their meeting rooms area for like an hour waiting to have access to some sort of room at this point. After an hour I didn’t receive a call as expected and I had to go back down to the lobby at which point they stated “oh the room keys are now ready”. Again there were many opportunities to apologize and yet it was all treated as business as usual.
I def do not recommend this...

Do not stay here if you value your privacy or belongings.
What initially appeared to be a decent hotel turned out to have serious security and accountability issues. I returned to my room after stepping out from 6–8 PM and discovered that someone had entered my room and rummaged through my belongings — after housekeeping had already serviced the room earlier in the day.
I had left a Prada purse and some jewelry hidden in my suitcase, thinking they’d be safer than carrying them with me. A friend had also left a backpack in my room to avoid going back to his hotel. When we returned, it was clear both of our things had been searched. My items were missing, and over €1,000 in cash had been stolen from his backpack. The layout of our bags had clearly been disturbed.
When I reported the theft to the front desk, I was met with gaslighting and denial. They claimed no one had entered the room and initially refused to escalate the situation. It took repeated insistence before they finally agreed to contact the police. There was no sign of forced entry — I had confirmed the door was locked when I left — and the incident clearly occurred while we were away.
After all this, I asked the hotel for a refund given their unwillingness to assist in locating my stolen belongings — worth thousands of dollars — or take any real accountability. They refused. The manager showed no sympathy or urgency. They claimed the only person to enter was the cleaning staff, who they allegedly searched and “found nothing” — which is hard to believe. They also refused to show me any security footage (although police said this is common).
As I was preparing to leave, I spoke with another guest on my floor. After hearing what happened, they checked their room and realized their belongings had also been tampered with. They came down to the lobby to report the same thing and only then did the staff begin to take me a bit more seriously.
This hotel is unsafe and untrustworthy. I would strongly advise against staying here. I’m writing this to prevent others from going through the same situation. If you dig through enough of these reviews you will find others reporting...

Check-in was awful. When we arrived, there was no warm greeting, a hi or anything like that. Two colleagues were chatting with each other, where one of them, the male, seemed to be the manager. They had to finish their conversation before they even acknowledged us. The lady checking us in did not explain anything about the facility, or even where the elevators were.
The establishment itself feels sterile. The elevators are tiny with no ventilation or air. For the amount of rooms at the hotel, the size and number of elevators is disproportionate. The fitness center for a 5-star hotel is seriously lacking.
The room they assigned us, 108, is a great room for a family of bats on the first floor. There’s literally one tiny window by the bed that faces the side of the building and the rest is like a cave. There are two bathrooms in the unit, and they both are dirty and poorly kept. There was hair on the floor and shower, loose tiles, mold around the tub and shower, and water from the shower sprayed everywhere in the smaller bathroom. AC vents are covered in mold and you can see remnants of condensation on the wall. Old leak stains in the bathroom ceilings were never repaired. We could hear constant movement and dragging of furniture above us until about 1am and in the morning and when we woke up around 7am, heard loud footsteps again and conversations very clearly in the larger bathroom.
As a preface, we booked this hotel solely based on the premise of being able to use NH discovery dollars to pay for a part of the stay. When we told reception about this, she became dismissive and tried to tell us the system cannot process the credits for the stay. We had to assert ourselves and calmly explain to the reception that that’s unacceptable while they kept trying to talk over us instead of listening to what we had to say. After some discussion, she agreed to apply the credit on the stay in the next couple days“once their systems are operable again.”
Would never recommend this hotel to anyone - this is a 2 star motel disguised as a...
