Over rated Instagram restaurant
At first we sat down, welcomed by a moody waiter that did not even take the time to guide us to our table, it was clear that this restaurant is more like a factory than a tapas bar.
We ordered a bottle of wine, when the bottle arrived the glasses were almost literally thrown on the table and not shined up. The wine was poured out like if the waiters had no experience and came from the farmer school, no love and elegance used during the evening service.
Now the food itself is a great example of overrated kitchen, the tartare was not cut by hand, very clumsy served. I do have to admit that the taste wasn't that bad, please don´t consider that I would give it a price for the best tartare ever. The homemade croquette that should be made of shrimps, doesn't taste at all like shrimps, I think you can more easily compare it with an overpriced Bomba de patata, although even those taste better then the croquette we ate that day.
The almonds were even the worst, on the card it says 15 minutes waiting time, once ordered the coulant it was served within 2 minutes. The coulant inside was still cold, but served on a hot plate which caused the ice cream to melt and made the plate a mess, probably the melted ice cream was the best of all.
I could have taken more time about the other dishes we've eaten but it was not worth it...
It is clear to me that this restaurant prefers quantity over quality and if you're coming for a good service, better to stay away...

Based on the menu and the supposed concept, we were really looking forward to trying the food and the specialty drinks, however we had a terrible dining experience, our only bad one through 10 days in Spain!
We ordered the carafe of “Floria Tosca” (Sangria Premium) listed for €65, see photos of the restaurant’s own description of their “sophisticated and Tuscan take on a classic sangria” with “garnishes of a slice of lemon, sprig of rosemary and fig leaf in each glass” & “each glass contains a good mix of ingredients and ice”. Sounds delightful.
What did we receive? NONE of the listed garnish ingredients, zero. Just some red wine “sangria” and orange slices in a carafe. Also no ice in each glass, just giant ice blocks as big as the wine glass in the carafe so that when attempting to pour, half the red wine literally dumps onto the table!!
When we described the inconsistency to a member of the staff, he proceeded to argue with us telling us this sangria is not served with ice and that the “garnishes were inside”, both statements incorrect and direct contradictions of the restaurant’s own written descriptions. Insane!
Our mains had still not arrived after an hour, we simply left after watching other tables get multiple courses that ordered after us.
Perhaps our experience was uniquely bad, but then rather unfortunate for...
Read moreYou can't eat with your eyes. The food here was boring and expensive for how bland it tasted. Started with the artichoke heart, the corn was the fried corn you get out of mixed nuts style packets from the supermarket. It tasted awful, with a hard crutch totally opposed to the softness of the artichoke. I had the king crab spaghetti for the main. The taste was so bland. It comes in a crab shell on a bed of sea salt, which might look impressive, but as soon as any food inevitably falls out onto the salt below it's ruined. Goes from unseasoned to over seasoned, just put it on a plate and make it taste good. The best thing I had was the brioche sandwich dessert, but even that had a part that was inedible due to the copious amounts of alcohol they doused on top so they could set it alight. Look at the food from this place on Instagram while you eat spaghetti at home, it'll taste better. We waited ages for it too, with the table who ordered after us being served first. Plus the screens on the walls are tacky, projecting videos of ingredients and random parts of Italy. I find it ironic that somewhere seemingly so set up for overcharging tourists shows you images of another country you've not chosen to go on holiday too. Just a classic restaurant near Passeig De Gracia, paying a premium for...
