We had the pleasure of dining at Taller de Tapas twice during our visit to Barcelona, and we were truly amazed by the flavours, freshness and quality of the dishes. Here’s our review of each dish we enjoyed:
Paella Marisc The seafood paella was an absolute masterpiece. The rice was perfectly cooked, infused with rich seafood flavors and loaded with fresh shrimp, mussels and squid. A must-try for any seafood lover visiting Barcelona! The one portion is quite enough for two people, you don’t need to order two.
Patates Braves These crispy, golden potatoes with their creamy, slightly spicy sauce were absolutely addictive. They made for the perfect appetizer, and the portion size was generous.
Pebrots Padron The Padron peppers were fresh, smoky, and just the right amount of salty. Each bite was a delightful burst of flavor.
Pop a Feira The octopus was incredibly tender and paired beautifully with the olive oil and paprika seasoning. It’s a dish that highlights the simplicity and brilliance of Spanish cuisine.
Copa Sangria The red wine sangria was refreshing, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced with a mix of fruits and wine. It complemented our meals wonderfully and added to the festive atmosphere.
Pà Amb Tomaquet This classic Catalan dish of bread with tomato was simple yet delicious. The bread was fresh and crispy, and the tomatoes were perfectly ripe, making this a great accompaniment to the other tapas.
Tacos Pollastre The chicken tacos were bursting with flavor, featuring well-seasoned chicken and a delightful combination of fresh toppings.
The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Taller de Tapas to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Spanish food in Barcelona. As a bonus detail, we love their playlist which...
Read moreThis was our fist real meal after we landed in Barcelona, our new friend Oscar was there to take care of us. On top on speaking Español, english and almost perfect french. He is the most handsome waiter of the bunch. Charismatic and enchanting, he brought us our food and beverages like we were royalty! The food was delicious, like no other ! The gazpacho was OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was definitely done with love and care! Wine was great (obviously) my father's beer tasted "like it should " according to him but, where they really outshine themselves is with the cocktail. My wife took a berry blast cocktail wich was delicious in itself but very much delivered a feel of summer. Refreshing and not strong taste of alcohol, garnished with greatness. This drink was immaculate. For myself, I trusted Oscar, I let him pick my drink for my lunch. He brought me a Espresso Martini, never had that before. LET ME TELL YOU !! it was delicious! So delicious I unfortunately drank the whole thing before my food came out. My lips barely touch the rim of that glass that I was transported into this magical world where my taste buds were kings. My eyes widened as it was my first time drinking this nectar of morning drink and evening cocktail. I've never had something life changing. So good, I could only express myself in my native tongue because I couldn't express myself correctly in an other language.
Oscar thank you for this...

If you’re seeking an authentic, flavorful tapas experience in Spain, Taller de Tapas is a must-visit. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this place is dedicated to delivering traditional Spanish flavors with a touch of finesse.
The Chicken Breast Schnitzel was a perfect example of comfort food done right—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Padrino Peppers were a wonderful balance of sweetness and mild heat, and the Zucchini with Goat Cheese and Honey was an unexpected but delightful dish that married savory and sweet elements beautifully.
The Potatoes with Sour Cream were classic, offering a creamy, comforting side to complement the more savory flavors. The Beef Cheek was a standout, slow-cooked to perfection with rich, deep flavors that melted in your mouth. The Cannelloni was a well-executed dish with perfectly seasoned fillings and a light, flavorful sauce.
The only dish that didn’t quite meet expectations for us was the Chicken Tacos, but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. Every bite felt like a celebration of Spanish culinary tradition.
For anyone wanting a taste of traditional tapas that goes beyond the usual, Taller de Tapas offers an unforgettable dining experience....
