The hotel is easy to find on Avenue Andalucia and has quite a bit of space outside for unloading your car before putting it in the hotel garage - beware in the garage the same numbers are used in both the hotel spaces and the other spaces but the hotel ones are at the far side from the ramp. Note: the charge is 15 Euro per night.
Check-in was rather slow as the receptionist getting answering the phone but she was helpful in explaining about the garage and how to get to the old town etc.
Our room was extremely large and well furnished with fridge and tv and the bed was a very comfortable queen size.
The bathroom was enormous and had a very unusual clear sink but everything worked fine and there was plenty of hot water from the very powerful shower.
Although we didn't have breakfast included, we had breakfast 1 morning - at just under 15 Euro each and it was excellent with plenty of choice of hot & cold food - including 4 different types of raw fish and a bottle of Cava.
The number 1 bus goes from a stop opposite the hotel on the other side of the road and costs just 1 Euro 10 cents to get get into the old town by the port and takes between 5-10 minutes and would probably take about 25 minutes to walk.
The excellent Victoria beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel and there is an excellent restaurant - La Despensa - less than 10 minutes walk away. There is a large Carrefour in the same block as the hotel and there are numerous small bars and cafes near the hotel

Read moreAn absolute gem! I spent some time researching a hotel in Cadiz and went with this one based on the reviews on this site. What a find! Therese and Isabel made us so welcome the moment we set foot through the door. They were incredibly helpful with absolutely everything. If ever anyone went above and beyond it is these two ladies. What stars! The hotel is immaculate throughout, we had a lovely big room with a small terrace where we enjoyed sitting for a glass of wine in the evening. No views but this didn't matter, we were there for three nights and the seafront is just around the corner. The bonus of this hotel is that it has an underground carpark, perfect for our hire car. Less than 10 minutes walk into the old town it is ideally located. Breakfast was excellent with an amazing choice and we enjoyed the one evening meal we had there.|Another bonus is there is a good supermarket just two doors down from the hotel. Cannot fault it and we would definitely stay here again if coming back to delightful Cadiz. We just wished we'd booked more than three nights. The old town is unspoiled and we visited Gibraltar - made easy by Therese and Isabel's help and good knowledge. A brilliant hotel and we thought good...
