DON’T GO HERE!!! I dropped out in the first semester because this uni was so shockingly bad. All the other bad reviews warned me that it was a scam for rich kids and that they clearly prioritised money over educational quality but I was blinded by their incredible marketing. At least they were nice enough to give us some money back. Straight away, in the first week, many people agreed that this uni is so incredibly overpriced. I was promised a world of job opportunities in any sector related to hospitality but once I got here it was very clear that pretty much the only direction was hotels. The day I got here, everything was so badly organised. Everyone spent over three hours waiting to get their iPads, practical uniforms and room keys which resulted in most of us missing lunch and not getting food until dinner. Once I finally got to my room it was absolutely disgusting, every single surface was covered in dust and dirt. Other people had broken beds, broken lights, toilets that didn’t flush, silverfish in their bedsheets, broken ACs… the list goes on. The doors of the ‘refurbished’ rooms open with an ID card on the phone and it’s not possible to lock them from the inside which made me feel very unsafe. On one of my first days here, an older student said I’d made a “big mistake” by choosing this uni, and it turns out he was right. In my short time there I was only able to go to their restaurant Le Marché (buffet) but there are only a few food options for a supposed “diverse buffet with many choices”. Don’t get me wrong, the taste was fine but if you’re not early, everything will be gone. Breakfast starts at 07:30, I got there at 8 and they’d run out of eggs, fruit and yoghurt. The queues are endless for the restaurant too and you have to spend ages waiting so if you’re on a time constraint to get to your next lesson you’ll probably have to miss lunch. Some people complained about raw chicken and others got sick. On top of the massive amount of money that you pay for the school, you have to pay extra for everything like the use of washing machines and dryers (token system). Furthermore, the rules are insane. I get that every school has rules but these are excessive. It’s not normal for a teacher to tell you that they “won’t be violent but (they) will degrade you” or that they will be “your worst nightmare for the next 3.5 years”. The majority of staff members don’t speak English to the standard that you’d expect them to and every presentation had spelling mistakes, teachers also swear sometimes during seminars and lectures (I get that we’re all adults but it’s still not professional). The dorm doors are not sound proof AT ALL so you hear everything going on in the halls, sleeping in isn’t an option because there’s already noise at 06:00 and it doesn’t stop until after 00:00 (even though the rules say no noise after 23:00). The average student here is someone with a lot of money so if you show up wearing a suit from H&M (like in my case) you get judged so hard. The elitism is so overpowering here and clearly encouraged in everything that is said and done which creates a really toxic environment. The placement tests were a joke (so easy) which just shows how low the intelligence level of the average student is. The first week of seminars were just a waste of time. Presentations about things such as “personal hygiene” and “respecting others” should be redundant as it’s just common sense. All in all, it’s just a ridiculously expensive degree for people with money to get a diploma without putting in too much effort. Who knows what the diploma is worth too because I’ve heard alumni say, and saw on LinkedIn, that they ended up working as a receptionist or a similar lower position (like many other Les Roches graduates). Don’t make the mistake I made, choose somewhere else to go. This place is a scam.

As a student at Les Roches Marbella, I've had an amazing experience that has truly shaped my career in hospitality. The professors, who are industry professionals, bring real-world insight into the classroom, making our learning dynamic and impactful. The curriculum offers a perfect blend of theory and hands-on training, greatly enhancing our skills. I've also had the pleasure of meeting classmates from diverse backgrounds, enriching my perspective and teamwork abilities. The campus is good and provides a great environment for both learning and relaxation. Overall, Les Roches Marbella is not just an educational institution but a launchpad for success in the hospitality industry. I recommend it to anyone pursuing this field!

Les Roches Marbella has been one of my life's best decisions and experiences. I'm currently on BBA3 and I've had the opportunity to travel, meet new people, immerse myself in the hospitality industry, and become part of the amazing community of Les Roches. I've had the opportunity to join the Ambassadors team and the SGA (Student Government Association), which has widened my world.

I’m unsure if this school is paying to have bad reviews removed but on my anonymous account they refused to post it! So I post this (again!): I also stand behind every bad review previously left” This school to me is a cash grab, an option for wealthy youth to get a degree but not quality education that will guarantee a stable career. You don’t need a degree to make a career in hospitality and certainly not such at that price! The real value in this industry is your experience (and network) NOT your degree so you might want to avoid investing in hospitality education altogether but especially a rich kid’s hub for whom just performative, huge money and drinking culture and straight up bullying if you do not come a privilege background most attend for the sake of looking good having a degree and that will cost you about 25k for 3 months. Many years later I could recognize some of my own experience attending this school by reading the reviews: the gaslighting, the callous staff, the bad internet (I thought was just an issue back then apparently not! 2025 and internet still bad for a campus and not a cheap one!) Do not let their aggressive marketing fool you: they have people all over the world paid a lot of money to sweet-talk you into enrolling. My family had many hopes in this university and majority of savings went into what we now call a scam, it’s hard to pick yourself up after realizing this. Since I graduated I never thought of leaving a review but I changed my mind as I read some things hit too close to home! The installations are very poor for what you are paying and the noise insulation is terrible you can hear everything, loud groups of drunk people or walking on high heels at 3:00 AM, people having sex in the next room, yep you’ll hear it all, " forget about sleeping in". You’ll be constantly sleep deprived from the cramped schedule of classes + work (you’ll be working in the school cafeteria this is your “practical classes”° from the lack of having a comfortable place to sleep after washing dishes at 11PM (you are paying 20-25K euros per trimester) no option to take out food, so those aren’t the ideal conditions to study. Beware as another reviewer said: You cannot stay in the accommodation you paid for for the midterm break so really you are paying 20K+ euros for a “semester” but that’s really 3 1/2 months. The teaching material is poor, slides look like they were made by secondary school students and contain many spelling mistakes. They even used to cut their juice at the breakfast buffet with water. I mentioned the establishment’s culture I lol a few months ago when I visited their page recently and saw their DEI resolutions, hey it’s never too late to start treating people with dignity but I do not believe this school know what dignity is: they will go with whatever PR will get them more students. After you graduate they will only help you if they can make you pay more money: career dep. will leave your messages on read while events will chase you down to make you pay 100 euros to attend reunions where you are promised a wealth of opportunities but the only sure thing you'll get is alcoholic drinks (which you pay for) Now funny: the global convo about gender has declined and this page that was up on their website still 3 months ago celebrating diversity is nowhere to be found, only their old rigid gendered dress codes. They never had a page about neurodiversity, they could not, their campus is a terrible learning environment due to the poor installations, the toxic culture and the negligence; Teachers are mediocre some act inappropriate (from my experience the school counselor behind the fake smiles only judges and even gossips about students) some Chefs sometimes straight up yell at students and berate them. This behavior is even excused in lectures: “they are chefs”. Yes the industry has a lot of issues but that’s a separate convo; after researching on the hotel industry if you still choose to make a career in it I beg you: at least DO NOT spend your money on...

Les Roches Marbella is the waste of money! The education in PG doesn't worth the amount that we paid and pay. Thats the university that accepts everyone who can simply pay, doesn't even care about their proficiency in english or whatever. Classes that were taken during 6 months absolutely not helpful at all..Many of us were expecting more than what was given ( well in our case just basics of marketing, events and etc.) Those who are from CIS countries, when the university or external company through which you are planning to apply tells you that studying at Les Roches will open you all the doors in the world is simply not true. Its a matter of citizenship and passport. Cause those who are from CIS countries faced such a difficulty just to find an internship. (I'm not even saying about job opportunities). All our group mates and me as well were so disappointed with the level of courses and education itself. You pay so many extras just for nothing, for books that were never given (except for marketing, but I believe that one book doesn't cost thousands of euros). To end up in the front office or guest relations you don't need to study at Les Roches. Cause after PG no one will hire you as the manager or supervisor. So, you are just giving up the money to get a small paper-diploma-certificate that you studied at Les Roches. I wouldn't recommend applying and studying there, at least for postgraduate diploma.
