Boho Restaurant — Restaurant in Marbella

Last Saturday we were invited to a birthday party celebrated on the lawn in Boho gardens not the main restaurant the one attached to the hotel 🏨 I cannot express how amazing everything was … we sipped champagne provided by our very generous Hosts 💞 the service from the Team was incredible 🤩 really incredible 🤩 Facundo the main Man looking after everyone was just impressed and impeccable 👌 stand and take a Bow 🙇‍♂️ your dedication to looking after all of us , all ages was second to none🥇 the Food was ridiculously good 👍 I cannot express how yummy everything was , we all wanted more even if the portions were generous 😊

I was so happy I asked my Partner to come to dinner there on Monday night his night off work from Casa Tua. The Gentleman who sat us down was very pleasant and the Sommelier was not only so informed but so nice. Then came the new menu 😞 I struggled to find a starter as did my Amore so we skipped that and even the main wax a struggle to pick 🤦‍♀️ I picked the fish in salt 🧂 when it was presented it was like when I was in hospital the food looked like this and tasted of nothing 😗 I was devastated , sad as I was expecting so much more. It was bland it was just not good. My Partner had order fillet steak , what can I say , nothing and it was not even warm by the time the waiter finished his finishing of the dish at a table beside us.

Monday night food wise was a disaster so disappointing compared to the casual Saturday food in the hotel 🏨

I use to go to BOHO a lot two years ago but gave up because the service was SO bad and the food average. The only reason wanted to give it another chance was the party on Saturday and because of Facundo who works there.

I have no interest in going to the main restaurant again even if the staff were lovely 😊 I enjoy my food and expect to get what I pay for and safe to say hospital food is not what I want … so sorry

Dinner is quite tasty though a bit expensive. Especially because of the service not working properly for over two years.

I’ve been there about eight times with friends and clients and I also waited 45 minutes for a cocktail. For number two cocktail I waited 30 minutes.

If only this place hired better staff. The interior design in a beautiful and the concept is cool and up to date. Cocktails are sometimes great and sometimes horrible.

Staff tend to be confused and often they don’t speak English very good.

Recently we had breakfast which was a waste of money and they gave me food allergies. We ordered some toast with eggs without hollandaise sauce as I am allergic to milk and tomatoes. I got my toast with some tomato pesto even though we’d specified my allergies.

The waitress was kind but had to come back and double-check our order.

There were only four tables occupied. We all ordered dishes with poached eggs and they were all hard boiled.

The concept is great and staff is kind but food was not impressive.

I already told the owners privately about these issues over a year ago and nothing changes unfortunately.

The food was really a disappointment. We were here for dinner with a big group of friends, and have taken quite a variety of dishes but most of them were not good - the octopus was very salty and tough, with a sauce that had such a strong taste that was completely covering the octopus itself and sad cucumber pieces which were mushy and did not compliment the dish at all.. the risotto was overcooked and the entrecôte that my partner had gave him nausea for the entire night. Not to say that the dishes were overpriced, for the taste and quality provided. The only good dish was the tuna tartar , hence why I put an extra star. The service was alright, but the starters were brought out with much delay so some of us were already done eating by the time that others got their meal. As for the atmosphere, the DJ did a good job and music was great, there was a very pleasant smell and the decor and interior design was very nice as well, but the tables were way too close to each other, the cocktail cart that the poor waitress was rolling around had difficulty to pass and was quite disturbing.
